A Great EDC Carry ESD Screwdriver
Background: I love Wera products - most of them. They are quality, durable, tough products with creative mechanisms and beautiful styling packed in an attractive box with a "Tool Rebels" sticker to accompany. This however, did not come in a box. I wanted a small screwdriver that I could EDC along with a set of bits and a small ratchet. For bit set and ratchet I got me a Wiha 74984 32 Piece GoBox. Together, it forms a good combination that sits in my right hand front pants pocket. Pros: 1. Good quality and durability of the screwdriver. It takes some abuse being with other EDC material in my pocket. The handle has not shown any scratches or wear from the abuse. 2. Gets work done. As small as it is, it packs a decent torque especially for screws with not too much of force requirements. 3. Good electrical protection. I have worked on a couple of live wires, but this thing did not give me any shocks. So, it holds to its electrical resistance promise. 4. Small size. Given its small size, you can put it in any pocket, or carry in your bag or place it besides the phone, etc. Cons: 1. Small size. If you are expecting something big, then you are searching for a wrong tool. If you want to torque something large, then this tool is not for you. Also, given its diminutive size, it is susceptible to being lost. 2. Price. As with other Wera products, you can expect a sticker shock. However, due to its innovativeness and uniqueness, I did not find anything with this size and capability worth for a lesser price to meet my requirements. Bottom-line: This has been a trusted stead for me for almost a year. It has done its job as an EDC to do duties while I am outside or even working in my house, when I don't need the bigger boys. The quality and craftsmanship is pure Wera, which I have been used to. If you can swallow the price shock, it will be a long-lasting friend.

I finally found my ESD screwdriver
This was a journey. My hand, my primary hand is permanently disabled and I struggle with grips and drop almost everything I touch so tools are something that I need to be right or its just frustrating. Wera I knew was my brand. This screwdriver fits all the check marks, ESD, comfortable, feels good in my hand and is easy to use. The locking bit shouldn't wobble (or have a lot of loose play) and this one on my Vessel bits and my Bosch bits 1/4 drive hex fit snuggly. My number one favorite part is the receiver chuck. Its so smooth to clip a new bit in without an extra hand movement to unlock the Chuck before inserting the bit. One handed awesomeness! Thank you wera. Also the bit also has a ball bearing and is very smooth so you can hold that little area as a grip and just twist the handle without making too much unnecessary write movements. I also was really excited and thrilled to know I was getting a nice high quality tool and the price point was within reasonable value. This screwdriver is going to be very useful in my electronics projects and electrical work.

Fantastic quality! Perfect size for Knipex XS pouch!
This was just just the size I was looking for to add to my Knipex pouch with my other smaller tools. The locking mechanism is very well made with no play on the bits. The yellow looks great as well.

It's a Wera, just smaller
I knew this would be small, but it's smaller than I thought. That's fine by me; I already have a regular Kraftform and I needed something more delicate, but it's something you should know if you're looking at it. It's sized for about what you'd expect from a precision screwdriver and takes standard hex bits. That looks a bit funny, but it works as a precision driver would. It's typical Wera quality, though. Outstanding as usual.

Nearly perfect! ...But not perfect.
Nearly all of my hand tools are Wera. Generally the quality for price is incredible. I ordered this stubby to have something a bit more substantial to grab for general disassembly of electronics. While the ESD rating was a plus, my main priority was ergonomics. The shape and feel is very nice. It feels like a textured, porous like hard plastic. while I wish it had been a bit larger overall, It gets the job done without the large amount of stress I would get when using precision drivers. That being said, all you OCD guys out there (me included) may be bothered by the large amount of wobble between the bit and driver. During actual use though, you won't feel it at all. It's a great tool, but a more snug fit around the bit would have knocked it out of the park. Worth the $10+? ...ehh, I would say it depends on your use case. It bridges the gap for me between something electric and precision. I would say give it a shot. Especially if on sale.

I Made Mine Into A Ratchet 😂
Honestly I just got the ESD model for the color. The Rapidaptor is an awesome little mechanism. Holds bits tight and is easy to use. I just wanted to make a handy little bit ratchet and this was the perfect handle for it.

A bit pricey, but you get what you pay for. This is a great compact 1/4” bit holder. Although the handle is relatively short and doesn’t have a large diameter, it still has awesome grip and locks bits into place securely. The bits can also be removed easily by pulling back on the release mechanism. I use it in a small fastener kit with many different fasteners bits and an adapter to facilitate the use of 4mm precision bits as well as 1/4” bits.

Sticky hand holder. Bit holder is wobbling with long andbshort bits. Some scratch on the body when arriving. Holder is smaller then expected 😄
