Soft, Thick, 1980s Style Pads
These do NOT have wings! They are unscented, are thick and soft and truly comfortable to wear for the few necessary days. (about as comfortable as flannel pads--I use them, but sometimes want a disposable option.)I buy the Regular size. There's 18 in the bag and I wish they came in a larger quantity pack.As long as I need these (I'm 51 - and cycles are like clockwork) I won't buy other pads. These are very much like what I recall pads being in the 80s, as other reviewers say. I like that. These are individually wrapped. I don't like the extra trash this creates, and wish they just came flat, in the package.I plan to get these for my daughter, when her time comes, too, if reusable options don't suit her.If it's helpful, some similar pads I've tried are:Kotex Regular - wingless, unscented. Cottony texture, but not as soft. Size is narrower and shorter--perfect for a petite frame. Good second choice, if Natracare is out of stock.https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0014CZJH2/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1Curity - Wingless. As soft and thick as Natracare, and narrow. Advertised as a maternity pad, but never mind that.https://www.amazon.com/Covidien-2022A-Curity-Maternity-12-1/dp/B01BQI4MQC?source=ps-sl-shoppingads-lpcontext&ref_=fplfs&psc=1&smid=ATVPDKIKX0DER&nis=7Stayfree Super - Wingless, thick, good size, but they have a sickly scent, not mentioned in the description. Comes in a large quantity pack.Amazon Basics - wingless, too much adhesive, and a more papery feel, and too large.Always Regular - wingless. Pads never feel dry. Plasticky texture is unpleasant. Only listed because it's a wingless option.

These are perfect, safe, and still affordable. Definitely keeping these in my inventory from now on.
Wow I've been missing out for years. I was an Always user, but I discovered recently that those pads (and others like Kotex) irritate the private parts. Irritation can sometimes happen, itchiness, and what seemingly was unrelated-- skin rashes/bumps on other parts of my body. I thought those things were related to the menstruation cycle, until one day I was having problems breathing and my chest was hurting. It almost felt like an on-coming attack of TSS (note: almost happened once with a tampon, so it was really alarming). That moment I discovered I was having various degrees of reactions to different brands of sanitary pads (as time went on wearing them). My research ultimately lead me to these organic cotton pads, so I decided to give these a chance. Many non-organic cotton and non-cotton pads have a lot of unknown ingredients and chemicals in them (undisclosed to the public, you can read more about it too).So first impressions: extremely soft, and the maxi pads I received were also pretty thick. I have medium to heavy bloodflow (really thick and clotting) so I was worried about how absorbent they were. Turns out they were pretty absorbent. In addition, there's no smell to them (at all), there's no irritation because the cotton is so soft and there's no additional texture cover/wrap like other brands. I also noticed that even to the end of the day, without changing it, the pad hasn't gotten any worse. (Gross I know, I should've changed it, but I still felt like I was sitting on a cloud 8 hrs into the day.) I honestly might make the switch to cloth pad in the future, but in the mean time, these pads are my go-to day pads now. One can last comfortably for the entire day and emits no odor. I recommend these if you want either more comfort, and/or a solution to pad-related to irritation.

I LOVE THESE PADS
Years ago, I found these in a natural food store. I could never remember which brand pads these were, and I constantly ordered other brands hoping they would be "the ones". I gave up thinking it must be something that was discontinued. I accidentally found these again and I am thrilled! Backstory: This family doesn't use tampons as a preference. Moreover, I HATE pads with wings. My young, heavy-flow daughters struggle with wings. These pads have no wings! They are similar in feel to the favorite pads of my youth (store brand wingless from the 80s and 90s) because they are soft, thick, and no wings to contend with. Did I mention that these are SOFT??? I can't express how much this means when you have a long and heavy flow and have to sit on them a week or more. I'm now at the "peri" age where I am getting my period every two weeks...fun. Between that and my teen girls, we go through a lot of pads. Now that I have found these again, we are keeping these exclusively in the house. In addition to the night pads for heavy flow, I have ordered the other sizes to try (regular, super, and Long liners, as well as the Plus incontincence pads for my mom to try.) Liners are good to have, but just like winged pads, liners that are not "long" are uncomfortable to me because they migrate during the day...ouch. I am interested to try Natracare's liners as I am currently using Rael long liners and want to see if the softness of the Natracare full size pads is the same in the liners. I can't say enough about this brand. THANK YOU! We love Natracare no wings pads! Please do not change them!

My Favorite Period Product
Love that I can be confident that these products are better for my body than most other sanitary pads. They do their job without exposing me to harmful chemicals!

Good overall period pad!
I love that these are made from quality materials, since so many others are so toxic. They do a pretty good job. I didn’t give it 5 starts because the pads tend to squish up a bit in the middle, so it causes leaking onto fabric.
