The flavor was wonderful and I would choose this soup over a soup ...
The Reset Factor Kitchen is, as it's name implies, so much more than a cookbook. But I'm starting the review with our experience making and enjoying the Cashew Cream of Broccoli Soup that is found on page 152.The directions were clear and I appreciated the Tips and Tricks and Dr. Mindy's notes about this recipe.We didn't have cauliflower in the house, so I increased the broccoli to 2 and one half cups. Added a kale, spinach and chard mix of greens instead of using the ½ cup kale. I blended up all the ingredients thoroughly as Bill has some texture challenges when swallowing.The soup was rich and thick, but wasn't heavy in texture. The flavor was wonderful and I would choose this soup over a soup with cream or cheese. I did add a few dashes of cayenne to spice it up a bit. Bill says he looks forward to having it again sometime soon.Tonight I am trying the Pizza with Herbed Cauliflower Crust. I've made cauliflower crust before, but it wasn't what I expected. Bonnie's directions for spreading and shaping the dough give me hope that this crust will turn out much better than the cauliflower crusts I made using other recipes.The photography is so yummy! And the organization of the cookbook so well done! The one suggestion that comes to mind is that it would be nice to have the page numbers for ingredients such as RFK Pizza Sauce, used in the pizza recipe, or RFK Cashew cream, used in the broccoli soup, listed as part of the recipes. However, Chapter 12: The Reset Factor Kitchen Panty is where these ingredients are located and it doesn’t take long to find them using the table of contents.This is a beautifully and carefully designed cookbook. I am so glad I got a hands-on edition. I haven't been as excited about a cookbook since I purchased Rachael Ray's 30-Minute Meals Get Togethers quite some years ago. I used that cookbook quite often and I know I will use the Reset Factor Kitchen even more.Thank you so much Bonnie Carlson and Dr. Mindy! This is a very helpful book!
We use this book regularly! Truthfully, it has changed our lives. Is it flawless no, but the research is sound, the recipes are great and I am so thankful for this book. We refer to it weekly for information and recipes. I have purchased this book as gifts for my friends it has been that helpful. Thank you for making this incredible resource.

Outstanding wellness coobook.. excellent suggestions and recipes
Bought this book to learn more about total health and understand the WHY behind taking supplements and eating certain foods for better gut health. BINGO! I found what I was looking for. I've since made a number of the recipes - blueberry muffins and quinoa hot cereal are awesome!This book is extremely well organized and easy to read. Dr. Mindy Pelz takes time in the front of the book to meticulously walk you through the Reset Factor (can't wait to do the 15-day Reset) and explains exactly what you need to do and why this will help you. I particularly liked the section on the healing power of supplements, accelerating your results, and understanding how to really read a food label. I did a bit of skipping around to read through the recipes and try to stock up on ingredients for the delish recipes by Bonnie Carlson. There is a shopping guide that is very helpful. I've already bought this book as a Christmas gift.[...]

Great healthy recipes
I've been doing Dr Mindy's 72 hr water fasts and got this book with Fast Like a Girl. Highly recommend her books - full of health based information, and I have lost my "winter weight" already by following her guidance. Highly recommend this book and her other books.

Great Christmas Gift - Awesome Cook Book!
"The Reset Factor Kitchen: 101 Tasty Recipes..." by Mindy Pelz and Bonnie Carlson is more than just a cook book. It is a must for anyone looking to create a healthier lifestyle with amazing recipes. I could not get enough of Dr. Mindy's insights into how what we eat affects our health. I have a chronically ill child and am also an athlete. So it is important to me to be able to bring great nutritious and tasty food to the table.I love Ms. Carslon's story. She graduated from Culinary School and her recipes are inspired by her daughter who was diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes. I recently made the Lemon Ginger Salmon as well as the Butternut Squash Soup. Both were amazing. All recipes have "Tips & Tricks", "Special Diet Information", as well as Dr. Mindy's notes which I love!!A great Christmas gift!!!

Not the author’s fault, except for choosing to self publish with Amazon
In between page 132 and 133 there is an insert of a completely different book. This is a gift and understandably I cannot gift this. Will have to reorder and I’m not quite sure if I want to keep the book to myself with such a long disruption.
