Being jammed in confined spaces for hours is an unfortunate part of the business for many professionals we serve. Whether it’s a military unit in an a.p.c., a pilot in a cockpit, drivers in a HumVee, or a journalist in the back of a goat truck, they all have to bring their gear. And they all may need to 'relocate' in a hurry. This is the environment for which our Evac(TM) line of sling packs has been geared. They are slim shaped to be easily manoeuvred in crowds, or stored in vehicles/lockers, and are quick to take on or off. They are also ambidextrous, and unlike others in this class, are actually comfortable on the shoulder; The bottom strap clips from either the right or left lower corner and the padded section realigns itself ergonomically in the correct body-hugging direction. The bag can be rotated to the chest for on-the-go access, and all pockets are designed to face the user in this mode on either the right or left side.

Love this pack for day hikes. Extremely comfortable.
This thing is great. Fits plenty of stuff for a great all day hike pack.I'm 6' 200lbs with pretty broad shoulders. Most 2 strap backpacks dig into my arm pits. This thing is extremely comfortable with no digging into me.Definitely recommended. It's a little expensive but I got it on sale

Study bag that can go the distance.
Like other reviewers, I also received a toiletry case instead of the pack when I first ordered this item. I wish I could have found the SKU for it, because the toiletry pack was really nice and I would have ordered one of those, too. The return process was super quick and easy, and I got the correct item on the second try. Not enough of a problem to detract from the rating, just a quick word of warning!I've been using the Rocket as my EDC bag for a few weeks as a replacement to a standard bookbag, and it's been great so far. Durable construction, easy to configure for right- or left-shoulder use, also comes with a strap to make one-shoulder quick-carry easy like a bookbag. There are very long segments of soft padding on either side of the large main compartment that makes placing divider panels super easy. I went to an Army/Navy store and got a tool pouch and a padded case to add to the webbing on the sides. The webbing is solid so those extra bits aren't going anywhere. I also like the velcro segment on the outside for patches, which is why I got this instead of some of the other Hazard 4 packs. My only gripe is that the tightening straps tend to hang at my sides when I've got the pack strapped down tightly, causing my arms to hit them while walking. I can't fault the bag for that as this is more of a configuration issue on my part than anything else, especially because the straps do have velcro that can be used to keep them rolled up and out of the way. It's more of a slight annoyance than a real problem in my case, I do intend to keep playing with the length of the straps until I get it perfect. For all you Division cosplayers... this pack would look great with an ISAC unit on the shoulder and a cheap respirator hanging off the side. Just sayin'...

Hazard 4, NOT made by the lowest bidder.
Awesome pack! Approximately a year ago I purchased the Hazard 4 Watson and although there are minor differences, they are basically the same. The Rocket is tall and skinny with a decent amount of MOLLE for accessories. The Watson is fat and squatty (this is good) with not so much MOLLE (I could squeeze a flashlight and a utility pouch on the same 3 strips of MOLLE provided). Like I said both are exemplary packs. I loaded the Rocket down with weight and without the stabilizer strap it will "droop" on your back. The same equipment (and weight) fits snug on my lumbar with the Watson (without a stabilizer strap).Either way worth the money ;)

Perfect!
Awesome little pack. I've been carrying it daily for a couple weeks, and it's working out perfectly. The quality is top notch and should hold up for many years to come. I was originally looking at the plan b pack, but found a great deal on this pack. I really like the extra space with the two side pockets. It's amazing how much this little pack can hold, and still stay perfectly comfortable to carry with the nice wide padded strap. I would highly recommend this pack to anyone looking for an everyday carry pack, or even a day pack for hiking and camping.

Great EMTsmall Oxygen bag mini jump kit
This bag is great for short O2 bottles. We are a rural fire rescue company in the mountains of western Montana. This bag is superbly built and makes for a great Mini Jump Kit. The fire service is rough on stuff. Hazard 4 stuff is hard to beat for hard use. The current standard is cheaply built bags that are usually red or blue, thin material, having cheap bead seams with a medic or Maltese cross. The big fire supply catalogs sell junk in this category. I am sure this will get under their skin maybe they would like to challenge me. BTW I have been Chief for 5 years and have no affiliation with any manufacturer. I just like well made stuff. I know budgets are always driving our decisions. In the long run junk costs more than the good stuff. I don't like to buy stuff twice.

although I love everything about this bag
I just received this and have not taken it out of the house yet, although I love everything about this bag. The bag is made from good materials and is made really well, no signs of bad stitching or loose threads. I plan to use it for everyday commuting/ day trips hiking etc. I like to keep things organized to an extreme so all the compartments fits me perfectly. I also like the expansion options of the bag with MOLLE and the jacket strap on the bottom. Then also the zippers are covered which might bug some people but for me that keeps them from being forced open by the wind while riding on my motorcycle when the zippers are on top.

Great bag.
This bag is fantastic, it will hold all you need and more. I use it to carry things between my 2 jobs ie; change of clothes, clif bars, water bottle, small first aid kit, charger for my phone and there is still room to spare. The strap is very well padded and does not dig into my shoulder at all. Plan on using for a day pack once the weather get better and forsee no issues with being able to fit all I need and more for an afternoon in the woods.Since first purchasing I have added the kola smart phone Holder which is a great addition, it keeps your phone out of your pockets while out and about, you can have ear buds in and have the tangle of the order in the way. I have also added 2 broadside bags on the sides for added storage. I am super happy with all of the Hazard 4 purchases that I have made, would recommend this company to anyone looking for and slingbag or just anything that they offer in general.

A little smaller than expected but functional
I use it to carry my insulin and needles and medical supplies for travel.. wish it were say 15-20% larger.. It suits most of my needs however I did have to attach 2 molle dump pouches on the outside for a water bottle holder (clean canteen stainless) and one for a snack bag for diabetic snacks.. bag slings well and I will keep using it.. so far it's been my constant travel companion, from Australia to New Zealand and Vietnam .. and is my GOTO bag if I have to go anywhere for a daytrip..
