Great chair, functional and helpful in improving posture if at your desk all day. Good support, easy to use and construct. The ball is small and I would recommend purchasing a bigger ball to help with stability.

First be sure to put the back on correctly...it seems to LOOK like it should go the other way but then there is no back support if screwed on in reverse...like I did at first (oops!) So look at the photo as you put it on. I had read about these years ago and how they'd been shown to work your core--people were using just the balls without the chairs to do core work and balance work while at the desk, but the problem with that was the balls roll when you get up and are inconvenient. So I was reading several articles back when I was a diet coach and very into fitness at that time...and I really wanted once of these as they all raved about it in tests. Back then they were about 4 times the price they are now and so I passed because I was working in someone else's office then and had no desire to leave my nice chair there where things sometimes vanished at night anyway. So I am in the process of having a new office built (an expansion actually of an old one) and so it's time to also pick out some new furniture that works better for me. Why not feel better when I am working and have to sit? To be honest, I first chose the chair because I had an issue with my tailbone after a cycling accident and I wanted more cushion or "give" without an ugly coccyx donut that move around. This actually is SO comfortable--but it does work your core too. I mean, let's face it, it will not replace pushups but when I am doing lots of different things at my desk and moving my arms around (twists) I am forcing my core to maintain balance rather than my bum as I would on a regular chair. Plus the color is hip and fun too since I painting the office a very pale yellow on board-paneled walls and very pale green shelving. Fun and happy room for fun and happy work! Plus I am self-employed now so it's my office---unfortunately I clean it myself now, but I also can leave cool things in it too like my hip chair.

That I have had this ball chair for longer than a year and it is still doing it job. Must get

It's a chair that the Mrs enjoys at work, so we brought one for the home. She's satisfied.

Love it but wish it sat just a little higher. Ive had it going on 2 years and its been the same since day one.

I was very concerned I would fall off first time trying to sit on never having been on a Balance Ball before and no reviews seem to mention that. Did not happen, it was easy to get used to sitting on it. I was sure to pump the ball to the recommended 22, but then when I went to place it in the chair, it was too large to get in without removing the bar in front. Thought maybe I had the back reversed as that was stated as something to be very careful about, but I did not. It actually took 2 of us to get the bar back in place with the ball in. I checked my measurement and it was at the recommended size. I started at the full recommended size, and used a foot rest to have my legs at the 90 degree angle. The hardest part about that was getting on the chair. Once on (by placing chair against wall), I could easily balance and roll to my desk. I am 5.2 and have actually let air out as my feet did not touch the floor and I felt like I was not sitting up properly. I am actually higher at my desk using it, than a regular chair. I have had it for over 2 weeks and have had no desire to return to my regular chair. I am still getting used to it and at times feel some discomfort in my back probably because I am not always sitting properly, but I think this is just a matter of time and it does make me sit better than what I did before. I do not find myself twisted, no longer sit on my foot and go home in less pain. Before, I could not wait to get the heat from the seat of my car on my back. When you feel discomfort, it makes you reposition and think about it. When assembling, it says to put the locks on the back wheels but I did install in the front as I prefer to lean over to unlock if needed, rather than not be able to reach the locks at all when sitting. I am not on carpet and can still roll slightly, just with difficulty. With the wheels not locked, need to be careful how far I reach as a sudden roll is somewhat unexpected. I get lots of comments and everyone loves the purple.

I like the chair very much. It has helped my posture, and my back is not in pain while using it. The height is perfect for me. I am 5' tall. The ball has a nice firm "bounce" and appears to be well made and will hopefully last a long time. The only issue I have are the cheap plastic casters. This makes the chair hard to move on thin Berber carpet, and they do not seem like they will last over time.

As you can see from the pics, the purple ball (came with the chair) is not large enough for the chair as ithers mentioned in their reviews. I followed instructions. The instructions state the ball should be 52 centimeters when fully inflated. It is actually 65 cm. However, the ball barely fits in the chair & when you sit down, it is not desk height. I kept it anyway because I aready had a ball. My blue ball is much bigger and actually fits the chair. My ball when fully inflated is 89 cm, a vast difference from their purple ball. Pics of my blue ball and their purple ball are in this post. I gave 3 stars because the ball doesn't fit which is half the purchase. The chair is functional and works well with my bigger blue ball. Also included a copy of the instructions stating it should be 52 cm.

A brilliant item, well worth the investment. Great of you need the back support. Can also start to build up that core strength whilst working. Get a laptop table to go with it.

Ordering was so easy, actual delivery was next day so again fabulous. Product exactly as described so Bonus there.

I am a lash artist so I sit for 8 hours a day in a very terrible position and this has improved my lower back a lot since I’ve gotten it. I’ve only been using it for a week or so but I do find it very comfortable and I have used every single kind of chair because I have been doing this for a long time! However I gave it 4 stars because the wheels are really cheap, but I switched them out easily for better ones. Also I’m lucky I have a hydraulic bed that I work with because the chair is very very low so if you are sitting at a normal height desk or table or massage table this chair would most likely be too low. A lot of people seemed to have trouble inflating the ball properly but I followed the instructions and inflated it then let it sit for 24 hours and then deflated it by 50% and inflated it back up and it was then full size and fit perfectly in the ball hole. Also no issues with the metal bar bending, some people said that happened and that it broke but I haven’t had mine long but it seems like it will be fine!

I am adaptable and have no issue sitting in low chairs. I wanted a versatile chair, I enjoy that I have a workout ball and chair that fits beautifully at my vanity table! I understand the feedback of those who were not compatible with this design, for those people maybe in future this company will create a chair with a bigger ball and higher for those with longer legs etc. I myself had only one issue and they resolved it promptly. I initially wanted an all black chair, it was not available, I chose the purple ball to compensate. I later ordered another chair for my sister in black as it was available. I requested to return the purple and wanted to purchase another black. Instead of that mix up, the company offered to mail me an exchange without me having to buy a 3rd chair. I returned the purple to them and happily kept the black ball. *Hint, if this happens to you I would advise do not assemble the new chair when it arrives, simply exchange the ball as that was my issue. I say this to avoid contaminating anything unnecessarily as most of the parts arrive in sealed plastic bags. Lastly I intend my chair has a long life with me as I did read that some had parts break on them, and should that happen I will return here and update my experience.
