This works great for holding an extra tank along with a pack of pads. It looks gread along with having the clip too!

Work in the swamps , play in the swamp. Keeps a good barrier around. It does take 15 to 20 minutes to be getting effective. Would use in combination with lotion or spray. Night fishing is so much better.

This holder is VERY well made with only one exception. I love the way it protects my THERMACELL from drops and falls. When I’m working outside in the rain it keeps it dry. I absolutely love the extra pocket for storing extra fuel and mats. This little jacket even has a little loop @ the top where the THERMACELL can be hung on a hook & comes with a clip if you want to attach it to your belt or some other stationary object. The only problem I have is with the “ ease “ ( or lack thereof ) of “ pulling “ the jacket on & off of the THERMACELL. It has to be COMPLETELY removed to replace the fuel. There should have been a Velcro fastened bottom for easier access to replacing the fuel canister ( make it a flap that has a Velcro closure so that it remains attached to the jacket & not get lost ). That’s the only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars other than that it has been a good investment in protecting my THERMACELL & I highly recommend it.

I love this thing! It fits the portable repeller so you can clip it on to your waistband. It's a must so you don't have to carry it. The one thing is you have to put it in thru the top. I didn't know this but I figured it out. Hope this helps.

I bought the MR450 and holster because I already had the lantern version and was pleased with how well it works. I was under the impression that the MR450 and holster was designed to be worn on the go, which I need for hiking. When I saw how it all goes together, I realized that the holster flap covers the grill area, which can't possibly be right. There are no instructions anywhere in the packaging, so I contacted Thermacell directly. The holster is ONLY for transporting the MR450 when it is not lit, to protect the unit and keep it and other packed items clean. Also, for the repeller to work correctly, the grill area must be facing up, which it can't do when clipped to a belt. I can tell from other reviews that a lot of people don't know this, and it creates a safety concern. I'm currently waiting for a response to a request for further detail, to see if there is a way to safely and effectively attach the MR450 to the top of my backpack so the grill faces up. If not, there is no good reason to have this unit rather than the lantern version I already have.

Fits my bug repeller like a glove and like that it comes with an extra clip.

⁃ This holster is an important accessory for the MR300. It should be included as part of the purchase of the repeller in my opinion. It enables you place the MR300 repeller on your hip/belt while walking as without the holster, you’ll be forced to carry the MR300 repeller all over the place.⁃ The holster has slots where you can view the amount of fuel left in the fuel cartridge and check whether the butane flame that allows the mat to function is on.⁃ It also has a pouch for storing 1 fuel cartridge and a few mats.⁃ The best way to use the clip that holds the holster to the repeller is to install/insert the clip to the green repeller first and then put the back holster material on. I’ve taken a picture of how the clip and the rest of the holster look like when clicked onto the MR300 repeller. Open the clip slightly, run the Velcro strip part beneath the clip and then close/release the clip.⁃ You can also choose to apply the clip after you have inserted the cloth cover. It doesn’t fit as well though.
