Work in the swamps , play in the swamp. Keeps a good barrier around. It does take 15 to 20 minutes to be getting effective. Would use in combination with lotion or spray. Night fishing is so much better.

I absolutely love the Thermacell Mosquito Holster! This product is a game-changer for anyone who spends time outdoors. The holster is well-designed, sturdy, and incredibly convenient. It holds the Thermacell unit securely, making it easy to carry around on hikes, camping trips, or even just in the backyard. The added clip is a nice touch, allowing me to attach it to my belt or bag with ease. Most importantly, it keeps those pesky mosquitoes at bay, allowing me to enjoy the outdoors without constantly swatting away bugs. Highly recommended for anyone looking to stay bite-free!

This holder is VERY well made with only one exception. I love the way it protects my THERMACELL from drops and falls. When I’m working outside in the rain it keeps it dry. I absolutely love the extra pocket for storing extra fuel and mats. This little jacket even has a little loop @ the top where the THERMACELL can be hung on a hook & comes with a clip if you want to attach it to your belt or some other stationary object. The only problem I have is with the “ ease “ ( or lack thereof ) of “ pulling “ the jacket on & off of the THERMACELL. It has to be COMPLETELY removed to replace the fuel. There should have been a Velcro fastened bottom for easier access to replacing the fuel canister ( make it a flap that has a Velcro closure so that it remains attached to the jacket & not get lost ). That’s the only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars other than that it has been a good investment in protecting my THERMACELL & I highly recommend it.

Fits my bug repeller like a glove and like that it comes with an extra clip.

I have been using Thermacell since it first came out, they work great. But if you have the old old original Thermacell (which is still working great) double check if it has slots in the back just above the fuel site long window, because if you are planning on using the actual belt clip it will not clip in. Otherwise I found a way around that for what I am going to be using it for so not a big deal.

If you have an old school style ThermaCELL, this holster can give you the option of hanging it from a belt (or the back of a chair, etc) in order to maximize the coverage area and not worry about it. It has a nice, snug fit over the unit and I like that there is a side pouch for an extra fuel cell.However, it has two major (and related) flaws that make it less user friendly than it should be. The first is that the belt clip is tricky to install. You actually have to put the holster on the unit , then install the clip. The fabric strip of the holster actually goes between the ends of the spring clip (photo 1). I also had difficulty seating the "runners" of the clip into the slots on the back of the ThermaCELL and getting it to click into place. What worked for me was putting pressure on the spring part to partially open the clip to seat the runners and start sliding the clip up, then releasing the spring to slide the clip up the last little bit and click into place.The second issue (and pic 2) is that you have to completely remove the unit from the holster to change the fuel cartridge. IMO, instead of putting a Velcro flap to cover the clip (WHY?), the manufacturer should have placed a Velcro flap on the bottom for easy access to the fuel cartridge.Although it's kind of a pain, it is not a deal breaker and I hope things will become smoother with use.

Greatest mosquito repellent ever.

⁃ This holster is an important accessory for the MR300. It should be included as part of the purchase of the repeller in my opinion. It enables you place the MR300 repeller on your hip/belt while walking as without the holster, you’ll be forced to carry the MR300 repeller all over the place.⁃ The holster has slots where you can view the amount of fuel left in the fuel cartridge and check whether the butane flame that allows the mat to function is on.⁃ It also has a pouch for storing 1 fuel cartridge and a few mats.⁃ The best way to use the clip that holds the holster to the repeller is to install/insert the clip to the green repeller first and then put the back holster material on. I’ve taken a picture of how the clip and the rest of the holster look like when clicked onto the MR300 repeller. Open the clip slightly, run the Velcro strip part beneath the clip and then close/release the clip.⁃ You can also choose to apply the clip after you have inserted the cloth cover. It doesn’t fit as well though.
