Quality U.S. made product
I have Lyme disease and purchased the IonizeMe Maxx to assist with my detoxing efforts. I use it every-other-day and without a doubt I feel better after using it. It took about a week of use before I did begin to notice improvements in my symptoms, and gradual improvement since. I originally purchased a cheaper Ionizing foot detox machine from Amazon but returned it because I was so disappointed with the quality of construction, and how flimsy the accessories were. It's out power also seemed weak compared to the IonizMe Maxx. This product is constructed using quality components, comes with a well thought out accessory package, a DVD as well as an instruction manual the is easy to understand. There is a voltage and amperage meter on the face which, which gives your information for adjusting the power to the array which sit in the foot bath, and based on the readings lets you know if you need to add salt. It is not complicated by any means. It comes with an extra array even though the 1st one is lasting a long time. They even included a special made container for cleaning the array.

I really wanted this to work, but ....
Warning: If you have a unit already, and you are happy with the way it works, please don't read this review. Once you read it, you can't un-read it.I got the recommendation to buy this from someone I really trust. And, I had huge expectations that it would be awesome. However, I am also an engineer, and some of the claims being made seemed a bit unusual. So, I decided to do a very simple experiment. I ran the system twice, once with my feet in it, and once without. Both times I used the same about of water, at the same temperature, and adjusted the salt so that the voltage and current were approximately equal for both times. I then used it for 30 minutes. I have enclosed two pictures of the results. Basically, just as much "toxins" were created if I have my feet in the water, or if I didn't have my feet in the water. Which makes me think that the orange-brown stuff was coming from somewhere other than my feet. For reference, the photo on the left, which looks like it has more "toxins" was the time I did NOT put my feet in the water. When you do a treatment, it creates a lot of stuff that looks like rust. The reason that it looks like rust is that it is rust. The chemistry is fairly basic. The electrodes in the water separate the hydrogen and oxygen from the water. The hydrogen bubbles to the surface, and the oxygen will then bind with the iron from the electrodes, creating iron-oxide, i.e. rust. If you happen to smell the "toxins" you will very clearly smell rust. The more you use this treatment, it appears that less and less toxins get produced, which at first makes you think that you are detoxing your body. The truth is that the more you use it, the less iron is available in the electrodes, so it can't make as much rust. If you do use it, and after months of doing so believe that you have detoxed your body, just drop in a new electrode, and you will find that you are back to where you started.Does it have any therapeutic value? Well, based on other reviews, it definitely has a great placebo effect (which is actually quite values, which is why I gave the waring at the start of the review). But, considering that the company deliberately deceives the buyer by claiming that the residue is the result of removing toxins from the body, I would have to believe that it is just a complete scam. However, if it works for you, then it works for you, and any treatment that works is a good treatment. Personally, I felt no difference at all after doing the treatment. I am just glad it pulled the iron out of the electrodes, and not from my body.

Works very well!
Great product! I tired the less expensive ones and they just wouldn’t work, barely turning the water orange. BUT not this one, it works so good. I felt great the next day too! Trust me spend the money on this one it’s worth it.

Not as advertised
This came with a much cheaper non collapsible foot basin. Not what was advertised. Also it says it goes up to 2.5 amps but barely makes it to 2 when in use.I may end up returning this.
