ACDelco GM Original Equipment 12346241 Synthetic Multi-Purpose Glycol Lubricant - 11 oz Spray

The owners manual for all GM vehicles recommend this lubricant for door locks, door hinges, hood hinges, latches, etc. I can’t find anything that works better. I’ve tried WD40 and PB blaster for creeky door hinges and it works for awhile then back to a clunky/creeky noise. This stuff sprays on and stays on and there is no noise. Super lube sprays on like WD40, then after a few hours (depending on outside temp) it solidifies to a silicon lubricant. Works well on many different applications that involve metal to metal contact, rubber/plastic bushing.

I have used this on door hinges and hood releases. It is a liquid going on but turns into a gel after a while. This is an actual lubricant unlike WD-40, which is a solvent for rust and moisture displacement.

After dealing with a squeaky clutch for years I finally decided to try the lube that the owner's manual suggests. Guess what: It works great and has lasted months longer than anything else ive tried. Its also great for generally everything ive tried it on from door hinges to locks.

Tried out on electric running boards and hinges.It works very well compared to other well known brands.Very smother and quiet .

It's worked great so far on my noisy garage door.

This OEMproduct is used for all hinges and lubrication pointswhere grease is needed, but the most important characteristic of this product is that it will trade into the areas where it’s needed and then the carrier will evaporate and solidify into a grease that will remain in place for months.
