Good for blocked sinuses saves antibiotic use
n-acetyl Cysteine is a known mucolytic removed from the prescribing list with Feminax and replaced by sudafed which can cause rebound congestion when taken for too long. I suffer from chronic sinusitis and cannot have another ventilation operation as it's too close to the brain. I was recommended this product by a pharmacist in France in 1998 and when on holiday used to buy 10-20 boxes to bring home. My daughter suffered from glue ear and I started giving her 100mg every day when she had a cold and she only had antibiotics once in 4 years. I've just run out and am buying more.
