Purchased this shirt for my husband for a 1950s dinner that we attended. I ordered the light blue to match my dress. Perfect match. I looked at other reviews and ordered a size up as recommended, but it was not necessary. My husband usually wears a size large shirt, so I ordered the extra large, and I would say that it is true to size. It was big on him, but it was okay, as he only needs it for one night. I washed it, hoping that it would shrink a little bit, but it did not. The fabric is of decent quality, nice thickness. The one thing i do agree with on other reviews, is that it does wrinkle easy, but again, its okay. I ironed it and hung it up until ready to wear, and it looked great. If it was his actual size and had a pocket, he would wear this shirt all the time.

The shirt was perfect for the 50's party we attended. My husband felt like he had to wear a t-shirt under it since the fabric isn't very soft and he prefers really soft fabric. It ran just a tad small, but still fit him fine. He normally wears and XL so I ordered an XL.

This is a really cool shirt! But you have to know a couple of things: 1 - it certainly runs small, so go an extra size up! At my size (5'8", 185 lbs), I'd expect an XL to be a little baggy. NOT SO with this -- I should have gotten XXL. 2 - the sleeves seem a little shorter than most short sleeved shirts. Not that significant; almost unnoticeable -- they just feel short if you're accustomed to something that goes down to your elbow. 3 - care -- this is not wash-n-wear. It's sturdy cotton, so if you want it to look nice, you'll have to iron it. It will shrink, so you'll need to wash it in cold water and air-dry or line-dry (unless you're smart and buy an extra size up). But yeah, you'll need to iron it.

I guess I should have read the reviews before this purchase. I'm a big guy but a double-XL usually fits me fine. I will often buy XXXL just for a little better mobility (I like a loose fit) but that's just my preference. With the way this shirt fits even a 3X would not have worked. This 2X runs closer to a standard large or possibly a medium. It may qualify as a XXL in Korea but is way undersized based on today's American sizing standards

I bought this to add to my collection of bowling shirts. It is different than the others. The others are made with spandex, this one is Cotton. It is made with Cotton so it is thicker then the others. The collar is also different. The others button all the ways to the neck, this one has an open collar. The sleeves on this one is shorter than the others (almost 3 inches). Not as bad as I thought it would be. Still looks and fits good. I like it and will buy the other colors. Great addition to my collection. Even though it is cotton and not spandex. Loved it.

Its a great fit, a little tight at the waist (2x), but perfect for me. I love the style. I get lots of compliments for the shirt. Its light and airy, as a bowling shirt should be. Great for summer activities.
