Good tea. Bad seller.
The tea itself is great, perfect for settling gassy tummies after overindulging or just sensitive tummies. Smells and tastes like licorice, doesn’t need any sweeteners. I used to buy it at the store, but it’s not available anymore, so I resorted to buying on amazon. Item was delivered with the box already opened. So, I don’t know if the product was tampered with. I wish I had read the reviews, others had the same problem. And there are no returns according to seller’s policy. Would not purchase from this seller again.

Excellent product - really settles my stomach
Exactly what I was looking for in a fennel seed tea. Great taste and very effective at settling my stomach (worked for my Mom too). But if you want some, be aware that it takes a long time for the shipment to be received after you order it (at least it did in my case).

Great tea
I have been drinking this tea for years and the package has always had a date on it and these two I bought from Amazon do not and the package is plain paper where the others have a foil type lining that you can fold over to keep the tea fresh. I ordered Chamomile also and that one was received fine with the date on the package. Update: May 2022 bought this Fennel tea again and got it last week. Only problem is it expires in 6 months. Very unusual. Expiration date is always minimum 1 year out. Check the date under the box. It’s great tea from a reputable company. I always buy it from Amazon or Whole Foods because its hard to find.

Excellent brand. Heads-up: fennel is mildly stimulating (vs. sleep).
UPDATE======While this remains a good tea (for me), it's either:(A) been discontinued, and we're seeing the standard discontinued product price gouging (by 3rd-party sellers here, not by Amazon) on trailing inventories,(B) or else it's in temporary extreme short supply, and again price gouging.Just say "no" to scarcity pricing. There are MANY other brands of fennel tea out there, many of them organic. (I'm ordering a few as replacement candidates today.)PRIOR REVIEW===========This is a fine fennel tea.I drink a lot of unusual herbal teas, in my search for both creature comfort teas, and teas that give the right amount of nudging of my neurochemistry. I tend to suffer from shallow sleep when I consume caffeine, so I drink decaf green tea, and only one packet's worth a day, since decaffeination only removes some not all caffeine, and leaves a variable amount in.But like most people, I don't sleep as much or as regularly as I should. So for decades, I've been watching my body's alertness response to what I consume, and I've noticed some mild stimulant responses from a number of common consumables.Consider the B vitamin booster (either as a shot, as OTC vitamin pills), which gives most people a notable energy kick. Maybe not the POW of a cup of coffee, but definitely an effect. Some consumables have similar stimulating effects, if milder. Some forms of fennel do this for me. Fennel tea, in particular. In my day job, I'm a knowledge worker (R&D chemical engineer), so RELYING on my cognition to earn my pay, I really feel the difference on days when my brain is just not in gear, vs. days when everything is clicking. In my primary work role, I've run designed experiments for 33 years now, so I've brought that way of thinking into my personal life. And there is zero question that for me, fennel tea gives me a more ambitious, zippy day.The downside, is that a strong brew (sometimes I leave it thermos-steeping an hour or two), or too much of this tea (like 2+ cups / day) will mess up my sleep. I make no claims about how broadly my own experience may translate to others. But consider this (or any) fennel tea, if you want a milder stimulant, and if you get insomnia / broken sleep, back off on the tea volume or strength.TIP: It's also a good idea to use an external driver to one's neurochemistry As The Exception, Not The Rule, ... since our internal feedback mechanisms adjust for any consistently-applied external driver -- e.g., routine caffeine-dependence. So I like to NOT drink this fennel tea on weekends, vacation days, holidays, or the rare laid-back workday (I switch usually to Pau d'Arco). That way, I have a little surprise coming for the dreary Monday morning monster laying in wait me!

Not Individually wrapped.
You have to use these fairly quickly since they are not individually wrapped. I bought them for the convenience but since they aren't wrapped I might as well use my tea ball. it's a lot cheaper that way.
