My favorite game.
I tried Horizon Chase Turbo when it was included on my PS Plus subscription. I never cared too much about racing games , just tried them here and there . This game got me hooked from day one with the helpful learning curve , colorful graphics , and sweet sweet soundtrack . I now own it on Nintendo Switch also . It’s the game I keep coming back to for short sessions , and it always delivers a fun and exciting experience. I call it my “happy place” since it always puts me in a good mood and keeps me engaged ( unlike the other 100 games I own ). I often get lost in it and play for hours trying to improve my scores . This game will satisfy both casual and more serious gamers . It’s done so well , that I can’t recommend it enough .

Outrun, the way you remember it, not the way it actually is.
If you grew up in the 90s you undoubtedly remember playing SEGA's Outrun in arcades, pizza joints, and movie theaters. Outrun was amazing - the ultimate arcade-style driving game: pedal to the floor, flying down the road. Thing is, if you go back and play Outrun today, it's merely ok. Time hasn't been as kind to many old games as we'd like. This is where Horizon Chase Turbo comes in. Y'all can take your stupid ultra-accurate Gran Turismo games and have yourself a snob party somewhere else. THIS is what I want to play. 10/10, 5/5, A+. Amazing game.

So annoying
Game constantly tries to connect to internet. Extremely annoying, can't be turned off. Takes all the fun out of the game. Don't waste your money.

Great Game, one small problem...
Great game. i grew up playing Top gear on the SNES. Horizon Chase Turbo bring back many good memories. its the best arcade racing game on switch in my opinion. good music, beautiful scenery, good car variety, but.......... the only issue i have is the game keep asking to connect to internet at the very beginning of each race. just when the countdown reach 0 it will pause the game to inform you are not online. Of course you can play it offline, but its annoying to constantly to have to resume the game at the beginning of each and every race. don't understand why the developers did this. but overall great game.

Great Old School Controls with Beautiful Graphics
This game controls similar to old games like Outrun or Road Rash. It's intention is to be Arcade style and it works very well. You can get upgrades throughout the game and the cool thing is the upgrades apply to all cars that you own as well as all cars you get in the future, so you don't have to worry about upgrading an old car and eventually have to make a terrible decision of scrapping your old highly upgraded car for a new car that has upgrade potential. Overall a great arcade racer.

Game flow killer
If you like to game offline then be prepared to see this over and over again. It happens in the middle of EVERY race. Nothing ruins the flow of a game like that intenet settings menu. Why didn't they design the game to check for the internet only once when you boot the game up? Even if you put the game into airplane mode, you will still see a similar menu. If you play offline then stay away from this game. The game may be good, but it's no fun for me if I have that screen pop up each race.

Best Arcade Racing Game on Switch So Far
As other reviewers have said, Horizon Chase Turbo is sort of a marriage between OutRun and Virtua Racing, with a very slick modern coat of paint. It runs at a locked 60 fps, an essential ingredient in any racing game these days. The soundtrack is solid, the course environments are varied, and the cars are great facsimiles of real vehicles. Easy to recommend this to fans of racing games!

Great game with one problem
Great racing game for the switch at a budget price of $30, that take's a lot of inspiration from the past and an excellent sense of speed. My only one complaint is that after playing this game for around 30 minutes I have to take a break because my eye's start too hurt. I'm not sure why I don't have epilepsy or any disease like that but something about how the visuals blur while racing hurts my eye's after a while.

This game is pure fun. Simple mechanics, smooth graphics but overall brings you back to some of the best arcade style racing. Races are short and can be quite challenging at time (especially when you are going for the super trophy). Lots of fun, well worth the price.

I don't understand but I have had this game replaced twice and it won't load. I spoke to other people online who say they have not had any problems. :S I gave up after amazon kindly exchanged for another one but still the same problem. It is not my switch either because all my other games work fine.
