Clip broke during an entry exit procedure in a kayak. Also - had to press a bit hard to get the knife to click into the sheath. Sheath clip should have a metal reinforcement, way too flimsy. Also - triangle nub at end of clip doesn't hold it in the standard PFD attachment very well, should have a J at the end of the clip. Knife is good though, just wish the sheath was way better. Gerber replaced the knife and sheath with a new one. I'm happy, still need to make a new sheath out of metal somehow though. Regardless - good knife.

Got this knife for a Colorado river rafting trip, had it attached to my PFD and on the 2nd day I jumped in the water and when I was pulling myself back onto the raft the sheath clip snapped off and I lost the knife in the river. Thank god I didn’t have a situation where I needed the knife to cut myself free because if that would’ve happened I wouldn’t be here writing this review. Gerber has always made amazing products, and the quality of the knife itself was great but the fact that the sheath clip snapped off with almost no force is frightening. Very disappointed in this product, thought I’d have the knife for years like my previous one but the quality of the product was sub par to say the least.

I use this knife for several tasks, from scaling fish to cleaning small game (squirrels, rabbits, frogs, etc.) And it's awesome! The blunt end prevents me from poking myself, the blade design allows for the versatility of use, and the release on the handle is perfect for me as someone who is left handed, allowing me to easily access the knife when I need it! Another great Gerber product!

Absolutely love the knife!! Rubber grin so doesn’t slide around in your hand much. Press button release so doesn’t fall out of the sheath. Pretty color, blue one but the sheath is cheap plastic. It folded up when trying to attach to my vest. I’m going to have to send it back.

Very comfortable in the hand. Locking sheath works great. Great value

Very compact great design and easily accessible when mounted would highly recommend
