Precision and Performance
The Polar H10 Heart Rate Monitor has proven to be a top-notch fitness companion, offering precision and performance like no other. As a fitness enthusiast who values accurate heart rate tracking, this waterproof HR sensor with a chest strap has surpassed my expectations and has become an essential part of my workout routine. The first thing that impressed me was the H10's accuracy in monitoring my heart rate. The chest strap design ensures that the readings are incredibly precise, providing real-time data during various physical activities. Whether I'm running, cycling, or engaging in high-intensity workouts, the Polar H10 keeps me informed about my heart rate zones, enabling me to optimize my training efforts effectively. The Polar H10's compatibility with multiple devices and fitness apps is a game-changer. It seamlessly connects to my fitness apps, cycling computers, and smartwatches via ANT+ and Bluetooth, allowing for versatile data tracking and analysis. The built-in memory also ensures that I can record heart rate data during my workouts, even when I'm not connected to a device. The durability and waterproof design of the Polar H10 provide peace of mind during intense workouts and outdoor activities. It can withstand sweat, rain, and even swimming sessions, making it a reliable companion in any weather conditions. The chest strap is comfortable and adjustable, ensuring a secure fit during workouts without causing any discomfort or irritation. The soft textile material is gentle on the skin, and the strap stays in place, even during vigorous movements. The Polar H10's software updates have added even more value to the product. It's reassuring to know that Polar continues to improve the device and add new features, keeping it up-to-date with the latest advancements in fitness tracking technology. While the Polar H10 is primarily a heart rate monitor, I would have appreciated the inclusion of additional fitness tracking features, such as step counting or sleep monitoring. However, I understand that its primary focus is heart rate accuracy, and it excels in that regard. In conclusion, the Polar H10 Heart Rate Monitor is a top-of-the-line fitness tool that delivers precision and performance for athletes and fitness enthusiasts. Its accurate heart rate tracking, wide compatibility, and durable design make it a fantastic investment for anyone serious about monitoring their fitness progress. If you're looking for a reliable and feature-rich heart rate monitor, I highly recommend the Polar H10. It has become an indispensable part of my fitness journey, and I'm confident it will elevate your workouts as well!

An easy recommendation to anyone needing an open, accurate HR monitor
The item arrived in a nice efficient package and was easily unpacked. Adjusting the strap is very straightforward and, once suitably modified, the strap is comfortable to wear after the initial shock of the cool pads passes. I found pairing the device to both the polar apps and the QZ app I use for my spin bike very straightforward and have had no issues with the device being automatically picked up on subsequent workouts. I bought this primarily for the reliability of the monitoring and open nature of conenction (i.e. being able to easily pair it to third party apps/devices) and I'm happy this has lived up to the promise on both counts. The monitoring element is more accurate than the optical monitor I had in my Pixel watch so I'm happy that my workouts are now being more accurately tracked and heart zone based training is more easily tracked now. The Polar apps themselves seem a bit rudimentary but, as noted, you don't have to use them for anything meaningful besides adjusting device settings and applying updates. That's going to be such an infrequent activity that I'm not counting it against the device. At the sale price of ~£60 this is an easy recommendation to anyone needing an open, accurate HR monitor.

Does what is says with high accuracy and comfort.
So the H10 is very good heart rate monitor. Works well during exercise, stretching, running, hiking and martial arts - generally fits nicely and snugly on the chest during all physical activity - that you can forget that it is on. Connection with smartphone during recording exercise - it is very well, it can loose connection if you are using other app requiring the GPS access, then you need to refresh the app (polar beat - just refresh) as other wise it will stop working due to some issues with multitasking and sharing processing at the smart phone. Alto it is work well if you use option of the recording the exercise with the H10 heart sensor and download after you finish. IT works well with watch, no problem at all, no loosing signal, very accurate. The software and app is extremely good and user friendly, providing very good analytical data, and information which you need in nice easy to read format. Compared to the Sunnto, and Garmin software - the way how the data is collected and presented was winner for me to choose the Polar chest heart rate H10. As did not have chance to test it in the water as the swimming - can not comment on that. It works well at the rain and storm weather when you are completely soaked tho :) The strap itself is good size with length regulation. Is has some silicon bumps which helps to keep it nice and comfortable in one place, so it not move around during the high activity exercises. It is very easy to change battery - which make this product last very long. Tested it connected to the watch and smartphone at the same time as it support simultaneously twin connection into the two devices at the same time!!! as well as it can work with one device, and on its own, no need to take phone with you - if you click in the app start recording with the sensor rather life recording with the app, then you can just go with the sensor and when you finish just download the information to the phone. So yes I would recommend it.

Works well with 1st and 3rd party apps
I use this for two Polar apps and EliteHRV. It fits well, certainly no worse than any other chest straps. It connects quickly when worn. I use this to monitor heart rate variability using EliteHRV and to monitor my heart rate during exercise using the Polar Flow app. It transmits data to cardio machines so I can see my heart rate on the machine display without holding the handles. For the most part it works really well; though it has dropped the most of one exercise session and has been spotty in another - I’d have been happier if the app recognised and drew my attention to it but it just carried on as if everything was fine. It’s frustrating but one session in probably one hundred so it’s nothing to dwell on. The information uploads to an accessible website so I can view the sessions on a bigger screen later on, but the site is simultaneously clunky and basic at the same time. I’d really like Polar to rework this. There’s nothing that suggests to me that the measurements are inaccurate, getting non-smoothed data from EliteHRV makes me confident that the device is very accurate. There’s room for improvement, but if I had to pick again I’d still want one and I’d choose this over any alternatives.

Failed from the start - Too pricy for what it's worth !!
Product was never working well from the start - now (after 5 months of frustration) it just does not connect to my phone so I can't measure my hear rate when training. Particularly concerning as I am a cardiac patient and need to monitor my heart rate regularly and consistently. To ensure that I stay within a recommended rate by my cardiologist. It was working well for one week and then deteriorated. Now it is so inconsistent I can not trust the device. Polar Support was useless advised me to buy another strap @34 pounds from their website !! As it is not covered by the warranty. I have replaced the battery twice to see if that would fix it and no luck and tried all the advice from support. Considering the price of this unit i would expect higher standards and being Polar you would expect this. Unfortunately I now have to look at alternatives as this is now an expensive piece of tat in my gym bag. In summary I would not recommend anyone to purchase this product - especially if you are a heart patient recovering from surgery.
