Bound and Initiated (Bound for Service Book 1) Kindle Edition

The best way to describe this book? I think it's like a combination of a Dan Brown plot and a little bit of Tom Cruise's movie Eyes Wide Shut...all with a generous dose of Fifty Shades. Mysterious society...sexual rites...and true love at the end (pun intended...you'll get it once you finish the book.) The sex tends to veer to the rougher side with a bit of dub-con -- but Emily Tilton keeps her heroine happy and contented all the way through. Be sure you read the blurb and be prepared for what you're getting so you know ahead of time it's what you like! :) It may not be realistic, but that's not always necessary in a fun read. Huge props to Emily Tilton for including lots of Latin phrases in her book's secret society descriptions (don't worry: You don't have to understand a word of it; she translates and it's very unobtrusive). I thought that was way cool. librum legisse iuvat.

Tilton creates a very bizarre world of D/s and the description of the under-Manhattan Mithra religion is kinda cool. (But Mithra?)Parts are erotic, parts come across as over the top silly. The sex is pretty so-so and although she is there voluntarily, she is physically forced. In spite of that, there is no resultant believable pain or other reactions for this virgin. The goal of the organization is completely honorable but the methods to achieve that goal make for a mostly unbelievable plot.So, if you like D/s, you'l probably like this book.(Mithra?) (Really?)

The story is weak. The punishment for the sake of punishment, humiliation just because doesn't do it for me. I found myself several times deciding whether to just delete this book or because I paid good money for it to finish it. I finished it but defiantly could have been better

This was outstanding book. It really made me think of the way we are using up our planet. Robert and Sarah have an intense relationship from the get go. Very Hot steamy sex scenes and lots of punishment scenes. Makes you believe that there could in fact be an organization who's sole purpose is to save us all from ourselves. By any means necessary. Fantastic, futuristic, thriller.

Fascinating, exciting, amusing with a delightful fusion of Latin words and phrases with English and as well as fusion of drawn-out dominant/submissive activities and experiences with oral, anal and vulvar sex. It gets wordy, even ponderous, at times with it's tale of what makes 'civilization.'

What can I say but "this was a education". I,m intrigued, don,t know yet as I write this if there,so a book two. Not sure if I would want one, but know I would prefer not. This story is outstanding, plot characters concept, perfect. The lady is a Writer, let there be no doubt.

If D/s blows your skirt up like it does mine, then this is a fantastic choice for you. A great society, a great heroine, and intense submission!!! Well worth your time and money.

A well crafted tale of sexual domination with many surprises along the way. I am looking forward to the sequel.
