Noticed my carbon fibre cleaning brush was leaving hairs on my records. This velvet brush picks up all the dust and hairs. The resulting sound quality is such an improvement. It's very soft and cleans all the dust off in a couple of rotations of the record. So pleased that I have since bought a second brush to keep as a spare. Highly recommended! It's amazing how much it picks up from seemingly clean vinyl. I'm careful to brush the debris off the brush, (with the small cleaning brush provided) after cleaning each side of my albums. The stylus used to pick up so much interference from small hairs etc, but that has dramatically reduced since I started using this cleaner, resulting in the records sounding much quieter between songs.

I bought this as I was cleaning my vinyl with just microfibre cloth and some cleaning fluid, which was fine, but rarely do they need such a deep clean. This sit's right next to my record deck and takes about 10 seconds to whizz across the record before each play. It leaves the record spotless, just remember to follow the instructions.The quality of the materials is great, it feels like it will last a good long time. I was worried that the fluid would be gone quickly but with just a couple of squirts needed it's lasting for ages. I like the stylus dust tool too that works very well.I would say I will not hesitate to buy this again, but I don't think it will be necessary as it's going to last years! Great product, and great value for money.

A good quality product with excellent cleaning ability but the brush should be grooved as it keeps slipping out of the hand.

Firstly, worth checking that the cleaning fluid container lid is tight before use as mine was loose.I first made a recording BEFORE cleaning of a track from a fifty year old LP and the result was what you would expect from a record that has gathered some dirt over the years, especially the first track with unwanted noise.Using the Big Fudge cleaning kit, plus an initial carbon fibre brushing, the result was virtually scratch free and worth saving to my Tascam mp3 in-line player/recorder.My opinion is, if you want analogue sound as an mp3, a record can produce a decent enough sound if unable to source from elsewhere, so definitely worth an £18 investment for cleaner records that are listenable to..
