Mattel DC Superman Man of Steel Armor Suit Zod (2013) Action Figure

Great action figure for the General Zod fan in your life.

I really like this action figure. I think the above reviewer, neko-San, said everything very well. I like the small 3.75” size because it’s the same scale as my Star Wars figures. As neko said, the articulation is limited. This Zod does not have a “ flying pose”; No ankle, wrist, knee movement. But I am satisfied.

This is General Zod as seen in the movie Man of Steel. I got this figure to stand side-by-side with the General Zod from the Multiverse "Adult Collector" line. Sculpt and paint wise, this figure is impressive, but severely lacks articulation. For ~$5, it's OK.The head and body sculpts of this figure are really good, showing good resemblance to the movie character. The face likeness is ok and the sculpt of his symbol and boots are very detailed as well.The paint of the head is precise, with no run-off on the skin or the eyes. The skin tone is ok. The paint of the body is black, with a black and gray.The articulation of this figure is just bare bone:- swivel head, ball-hinged shoulders, hinged elbows and swivel hipsI don't overstate that this figure lacks articulation, but it was intended for kids to play with.Over all, this figure looks really good, but the limited articulation would kill this figure for collectors unless you want him just standing. However, I highly recommend it for kids.

The likeness is good. Quality is what you would expect. It's smaller in real life than you would think from the picture.
