Bakeroo Tinned Pumpkin Puree (Pumpkin Pie Filling), 100% Natural - 425g

Difficult to find in the shops here in the UK so I paid a bit of a premium and got it on Amazon. It is a very good product and makes a very nice pumpkin pie . Much better than using our home grown pumpkins which can be very variable in texture and flavour

Just made pumpkin pie for Halloween. Used the recipe on the label, worked a treat and I'm no baker. Tasted out of this world. Gonna do it next year too. Woopie, oh I mean Woopee. 😂

It's tough to write a witty, engaging review of pureed fruit but here goes... We've probably all seen a million recipes for pumpkin and you need the pureed stuff. ACTUAL pumpkin, roasted and pureed is super-watery and good for nothing but soup. But this stuff is excellent for all manner of stuff, including things you may not even have thought of! For example, I use it to add extra low-calorie bulk and fibre to things like porridge, baked oats, and risottos. But what you're probably looking for is squidgy pumpkin to use for cakes, lattes and pies, right? Well, this is the best for that as well. All I'm saying is don't limit yourself! Pumpkin isn't just for Autumn, oh no. This stuff is smooth, creamy, high in about a billion different vitamins, including A and Beta-Carotene. porridge, baked oats, sauces, soups, pasta, risotto, puddings, cheesecake, pie....just don't use too much, or you'll end up with something between a healthy glow and looking like you've been Tangoed!

Very useful for making pumpkin cakes.

I bought this brand specifically because it had extra recipes I could put in a book but never mind I guess

Purchased this to help with our dogs digestion and he absolutely loves it, the vet said just a small portion per day so to prevent it going bad we froze it in single portions in an ice cube tray. This is a very hard product to find in retail outlets so was very pleased to find a supplier on Amazon. Will be ordering more in due course

Ich bin super zufrieden mit diesem Kürbispüree. Aus Neugier habe ich einen Pumpkin Pie probieren wollen und mit Bakeroo ist er mir super gelungen. Auf dem Etikett ist ein ausführliches Grundrezept in englischer Sprache abgebildet, alles gelingsicher und sympathisch gestaltet. Die Konsistenz erinnert an einen lockeren Käsekuchen, nur ohne säuerliche Note. Durch die benötigten Gewürze, entsteht ein leicht weihnachtliches Geschmackserlebnis. Das Kürbismus lässt sich sicher auch gut zu Cremesuppen verarbeiten. Wenn's schnell gehen soll, eine gute Wahl. Ich habe den Kauf keine Minute bereut und hoffe, dass dieses Produkt noch lange hier erhältlich ist.

Parfait! Utiliser pour faire une pumpkin pie (tarte a la citrouille) et la tarte ete delicieuse. Ce que j'apprecie c'est qu'il n'y a qu'un seul ingredient dans sa composition: 100% pumpkin et c'est tout! Seul bemol, prevoir un ouvre boite car pas de petite languette permettant d'ouvrir la boite sans.

Molto soddisfatta, peccato che per aprirlo ci vuole l'apri latte.

Man muss natürlich sagen dass der Artikel nicht günstig ist aber wie oft macht man schon einen Pumpkin Pie ? Ich bin absolut zufrieden und hol mir das Püree einmal im Jahr und den Herbst zu feiern :)
