Amazing toddler plate!
This thing is fantastic. I was a little hesitant at first because of the price, but they are worth every penny. The first time I set it down my toddler went to try and throw it on the floor like he did with every other bowl or mat with suction cups and he usually succeeds, but that time no matter how hard he tried he couldn't get the thing to move. He didnt bother to try and pick it up any time.after that. It's also super easy to clean. Huge plus.

LOVE these mats!
We have the sectioned plate and the bowl mats and use them at every meal for our toddler! it helps her make less of a mess and she doesn't flip her plate/bowl like she would with a normal plate. Highly recommend!

Love these!!
I love these! They stick well & make it easier for my daughter to pick up her food. I have the smaller mat too which doesn't stick as well as these but it is better for travel. The disposable mats that stick are convenient but she just pulls them up where as these she doesn't mess with.

Works Great!
This is great for a little person who likes to throw their plates and bowls on the floor! Works really well - even on a wood table.

Great for baby led weaning. Read to avoid soap taste.
Update:After having these for a bit longer, I wanted to update on whether a soap taste started to develop. We first had the gray mat, then also bought the blue one. The gray one started to develop a very slight soap taste after a couple weeks, and tasting it reminded me that we had the same issue with the silicone Haakaa breast pump. The way we solved this, was to use the dapple dishwashing soap. Since we started using this on the mats, we had no problem with a soap taste any longer and the blue one never developed one.Every couple days we don't hand wash them and instead put them in the dishwasher but still no soap taste (we use the Finish brand tabs). So I really think that what started to cause the taste, was buildup from the dishwashing soap that we used on the first mat (we usually use either Dawn or a similar store brand). I was concerned that the gray mat will taste like this from now on but after just a couple days without it, the lingering taste was gone (I did use a diluted vinegar solution to soak it a bit but not sure if it did anything). So I recommend trying different dishwashing soaps if you start having an issue with a soap taste. Since dapple already solved the same issue for us with other silicone items, personally I'd try that (we also use it on her silicone teether and spoons and never had an issue with a soap taste developing).Original review:This placemat is a live safer for baby led weaning or very messy eaters. Truly remarkable. It has a very nice weight to it. Our table is a bit rough so I was concerned that it wouldn't suction to it, but when I put it on the table and then press it down and sidewards as if to move it over the surface, it suctions very sturdily. I'm very impressed - and they clean so easily. The sides of the plate part are great for LO to use a spoon to shovel yogurt and other favorites on the spoon by herself. Our now 10 month old daughter never allowed us to feed her (which is why we eneded up with baby led weaning in the first place) so any runnier items such as yogurt, she would use a fist to "grab" the food, having these runny foods all over her hands and arms and would try to slurp them out of her hand. It used to be such a mess (plus of course the inevitable throwing of the plate and peeling off and throwing the placemats we used before). But with this thing she immediately understood how it works and started shoveling all kinds of food on her spoon (the angle works so well for this), eating them. Very happy.I am looking out for potential soap smell or taste since so many negative reviews mentioned this but so far thankfully nothing. I wonder if it has to do with the soap/dishwashing detergent used. Will update on this once we had it a while (so far less than a month). The reason why I deducted a star is the price - this item works and so I'm willing to pay this amount but seriously. It is on average $5 more than most similar items and I still find those overpriced. That's why we only bought two - we really would like to buy more, to have at least three so we have one for each meal on busy days. Maybe at least offer a generous coupon inside a purchased mat so return customers are rewarded? If it would have been just $5 less, I would have bought 3, $10 less and I would have easily bought 5. Of course I don't know the material and production costs but maybe someone in the company should calculate if they are not loosing business with this high price.Anyway, great product, we highly recommend it.

Great for young kids.
This works great for our granddaughter. She can't move it around easily.

Great plate for toddlers!
Awesome plate! Super durable just hard to get suction unless the surface is perfectly smooth (i.e. granite)

Not for us, but a neat idea!
This item is definitely cute, easy to clean, and good quality. It just wasn't for us. It didn't stick to my scratched, dinged up, somehow-always sticky table, and even if it did, baby (second kid) is the kind who loves a challenge. Even if she's really hungry, totally loving the foods offered, she'll turn this thing over just because she can. We skipped the specialty baby suction dishes in the end and went straight to the Corelle dishes her brother eats off of. I wanted this to work, but I just dont get any use out of it. I'll try as a novelty sort of plate when she's a toddler? In the meantime, it's a little awkward to store. Maybe skip this if you have a super-curious, defiant little bugger 😂. Or at least be warned!
