Wife bought a table and two chairs for our two grandchildren to use in our kitchen for arts/crafts and eating when we watch them. The hard plastic tips on the chair legs appeared to be ready to scratch our floors, so I ordered these, and they offer the protection I wanted. They fit snugly on the chairs' ½" thick x 1" wide legs, so they won't easily come off from the kind of use small children will give them.

These are a pricey but worth it. I brought these to go on the bottom of my outdoor chairs to stop them for sinking in the grass. It serves it purpose. I wish they were black to match the chair legs. I may spray paint them.

Arrived today & immediately installed on my folding desk chair. Needed a bit of muscle to slip over the feet, but it fits nicely. The gray looks good on the black legs. The 2 major pluses - scooting the chair around is now MUCH quieter & it will stop the severe scratching of the laminated floor.

Works and stops sinking for outside chairs. Will see how long they last.

The tennis balls do come pre-cut however for me application, I needed to cut them a bit more. I used them to prevent scratching my composite deck and they work great!

We used these on folding chairs to prevent scratches on our wood floor. They work great, so we ordered some more.

These were put on our bar stools that had 1" rectangular legs and they work like a charm. Love them. And because our legs were stainless steel and these balls were grayish.....you really hardly notice them until you pull them out on our beautiful hickory hardwood floors and they slide so smooth! Would definitely buy them again.
