We had a few of these exact models our lifeguards have been using for years. They were SO excited when we got them new ones as the old ones (very old) were starting to lose chunks here and there. They have a nice smooth surface so they don't chafe when you're hanging on to it all day.

I received it the same day that I first used it. Quality over everything I performed the rescue with it and it functioned as it should. 10/10 overall!

Good quality and size

My 10 and 7 yr olds and l2aning to swim. When at the lake, my 10 yr old and I like to swim out to almost the middle if the lake. Having this tied to my legs is keep us safe and hands free. Love this tube

Bought this for open water swimming in the ocean to be more visible to boaters and jet ski drivers....the tube works well, has a nice long lanyard that loops over my shoulder while I swim and doesn't bother my stroke.....the tube is very buoyant so if I need to rest I can float on it, too. Good purchase!!

It’s lightweight, bright, and floats well—but there's room for a minor improvement or two. 🏊 Meets Lifeguard Standards The description on page 1 mentions that it meets the American Red Cross and USLA lifeguard training standards, and it definitely holds up in real-world use. The 40” size is ideal for general pool rescues, and it’s light enough for younger lifeguards in training to manage confidently. 🔴 Bright Color and Clear Lettering The bold red color with “GUARD” printed across the tube is super visible, even from a distance (seen clearly in the main product image on page 1). That’s great for both safety and quick identification on the pool deck. ⚙️ Durable Build but Stiff Strap The tube material feels thick and puncture-resistant, but the included adjustable strap is on the stiff side. While it’s functional, it could be more flexible to better contour around the body during active rescues. It might just need a little breaking in. 📦 Compact and Easy to Store The slim design makes it easy to store in guard rooms, hooks, or shelves without taking up too much space. It’s also very easy to wipe down and dry after use. ✅ Pros: Meets major lifeguard training standards Bright, high-visibility design Lightweight and beginner-friendly Durable, high-quality foam and vinyl ❌ Cons: Strap is a bit stiff and not very comfortable initially No alternate color options if red doesn’t suit your needs Overall: A dependable rescue tube for both training and real use. It’s a professional-grade tool that just needs a slightly softer strap to be perfect. I’d definitely recommend it to other guards or instructor.

Excellent quality, looks great. Our community lifeguards love it. We also purchased the protective sleeves, which help extend the lifespan, and keep the units from getting hot in the sun.
