Nice little firepot for starting out
This is a heavy duty firepot and is made of 3/16 heavy steel. The pot is on the small side, but we are starting out making small keychains and trinkets. Will be big enough to make a 4" blade knife though. We have not had any issues with it and have been using it for a month already. Good little pot for starters.

Works well
Meets our needs. The ash flap is not waited as much as we would like. It lets out air. We fixed it by hanging our quenching bucket on the pole end.

Great stuff!
Little rough around the edges but it's a well built pot. Welds are good, good material and a good weight to it. Air intake being 90 degrees instead of inclined makes for irritating obstacles but all in all it's a fantastic fire pot.

Burns hot!
Well made and sturdy. Had fires over 2800 degrees with no sign of wear

NOT welded. Its cast iron!
The forge pot is cast iron causing major issues. Dont bother welding it. The cast iron is so poor even with good rods nothing sticks and will crack.I bought this same one 5 years ago and it was made of better material. The seller cut corners and is now selling cheap junk from india. If you plan on bolting it you might be ok. But dont expect to weld it. For the money you can buy a half inch thick welded fire pot elsewhere.

File and drill needed
The cast-iron pot seems fine. The tube that attaches to it does not line up with the bolts so you’re going to have to file those out mine I had to cut out about half an inch of material I had just enough left on the tab to have something to bite. The tabs for the ash flap on the tube we’re both welded at different angles and different heights and the flap itself was welded crooked on the arm. I had to put them in a vice and straighten them out to get it close. I had to drill a new hole for the bolt at that point. It’s serviceable now but just be prepared to do some fine-tuning to it
