BlueChart g2 Southwest Caribbean - microSD/SD Card

I tried to use the NEW Garmin Bluechart G3 preprogrammed nautical map SD card. It would not work. After lengthy back and forth with customer support at GARMIN, they informed me that the card was already registered and they could not allow me to register again. Therefore it must either have been already used or cloned.

The BlueChart g2 Southwestern Caribbean, does show the SW Caribbean but does not name the islands, which are the most relevant features in the area when sailing. There is a lot of clutter from the depth contours. The lack of detail is the biggest issue. I am still learning how to use all the features and will add more later. The GPS unit itself is light weight and probably as compact as is possible with a legible screen, it also boot up quickly and acquires positions well.

Covers the area

After managing to send the maps to a boat in the caribbean I discover that adventurer's bag sent the wrong set of maps, instead of sending the caribbean ones, they sent US maps, It was a hassle to return back to the US. They did not offer me the option of downloading the rigth maps. It costed me an extra USD$35.
