She really knows how to do sexy romantic suspense with strong women and the caring, protective men who love them.Dirty Rich Obsession: All Mine, is part of an interconnected book world that began with the Tall Dark and Deadly series. These hot, steamy books about the Walker Brothers are what 1st drew me in and kept me there. You don't need to read anything but the previous book in this duet to enjoy the conclusion of this one but many of the characters from previous books continue their HEA's here as well as throughout the others mentioned.Carrie West and Reid Maxwell started out as board room enemies as she tries to hold on to her fathers company as Reid, ruthless shark attorney attempts to take it over. Let's just say the fireworks were hot and spectacular...Reid is controlling and gets what he wants, whoever gets in his way, lookout, he'll take you down fast.This book is set just after they give in to the obvious love that has captured both of them after all that drama has been conquered (has it though???) and become engaged. Now, as they try to plan for their HEA, enemies from the past , sadly and predictably, including both of their fathers who have hated each other for years, keep interfering and threatening trouble.The book keeps you on your toes as the suspenseful, twisting plot thickens, making you wonder, who really are the bad guys?Carrie and Reid..what a pair! I especially loved Reid's dark, dominate style, reading and anticipating Carrie's worries and making them his. Can we clone this gorgeous man? If only!

This is the 2nd book for Reid Maxwell & Carrie West.The story picks up right where the 1st book ended. Reid & Carrie have just gotten engaged. Reid Maxwell is my favorite male character in the Dirty Rich series, and the reasons are all found in Lisa's latest release, Dirty Rich Obsession: All Mine. I admit, I have a weakness for stunningly sexy, alpha, overprotective males with a dark side just under the surface, fueled by a dark secret or two -- and Reid checks off all of those boxes. But it's his deep vulnerability - the fear that drives the beast inside - that really gets to me, in the best possible way. It makes Reid Maxwell unforgettable. And if "unforgettable" is what Lisa was going for when she created him, she nailed it with this sequel.The fact that he's met his match in his equally strong heroine, Carrie West, makes it all the more rewarding for the reader. Carrie is a powerhouse in her own right, and that's exactly what Reid's character needs to ground him, to force him to face and overcome his personal demons, and to grow into the man he is meant to be by the end of this story. Together, they are unstoppable. There is never a question of IF they will find their HEA - only a question of how, and at what cost. And that makes the story compelling enough to keep turning page after page.The story isn't perfect - but it's perfect enough. As an adrenaline junkie, I could have used a bit more mind-blowing, life-threatening suspense, but that's just me. There is plenty of tension to drive the story forward, and plenty of heat to fuel your deepest, darkest fantasies. And, as always, the secondary characters - from the Dirty Rich series and the Walker Security series - add depth, some humor, and a comfortable sense of familiarity that has made these stories so popular with her fans.Although Reid & Carrie's two-part story may be read as a standalone, I believe you will enjoy it even more by reading the other books in this series in order. If you don't want to do that, though, at least read Reese and Cat's two-part story, Dirty Rich One Night Stand and Dirty Rich One Night Stand: Two Years Later. It will give you a better understanding of two important secondary characters and save you from a spoiler I stumbled across because I got behind in my Dirty Rich reading over the holidays! So treat yourself, take your time, and your patience will be rewarded over and over again.I might never get enough of Reid, but I'm hoping for more of another character from this series - Reid's brother Gabe, whose story is yet to be told - and I hope I don't have to wait too long. I have a feeling he might be my next "new favorite" dirty-rich addiction.

Dirty Rich Obsession: All Mine was such a hard story to resist reading all in one go. As it was hot, complex, intriguing, enthralling and it had a great storyline that easily kept me hooked throughout. Plus, I loved Carrie and Reid and I'm so happy they finally got their hard fought for happy ever after.

Enjoyed Ried and Carrie's story they got there in the end, I don't think it should be the end there, surely there's more to there story it's only just begun.
