Description

  • Make sure this fits by entering your model number.
  • The Series 100 pneumatic casters come in 6” (mounting height 7.5”), 8” (mounting height 10”), 8” gray, 10” (mounting height 12.1875”) and 12” (mounting height 13.75”) and are made of pneumatic tread and an inner core filled with pressurized air which remains inflated even with the weight of a vehicle resting on it.
  • Weight capacity ranges from 200 lbs on the 6” caster, 300 lbs on the 8”, 350 lbs on the 10” and 450 lbs. on the 12”.
  • Top plate measures at 4" x 4 1/2" with a bolt hole pattern of 2.625" x 3.625" to 3" x 3" and can either be bolted or welded on.
  • Brake options include top lock brake (TLB), side lock brake (SLB), bolt-on swivel lock (BSL), or combinations of each. The TLB (6, 8, and 10” casters) places a positive locking force against the wheel top, whereas the SLB (12” caster) places the force against the wheel side. The bolt-on swivel lock (BSL) is field installable and converts a swivel caster to rigid for straight-line tracking at any 90 degree angle via a spring-loaded bolt inserted into one of 4 notches found on the swivel raceway.

Will update later but as of now FAIL

I will update later if things change! Purchased the 8” pneumatic tire, main purpose to replace the stand on the front of a new log splitter so it could be pulled around with a lawn tractor.Received the tire (caster), aired it up to the recommended 50psi.Over the course of 5 days I fabricated the new support to bolt the caster to and painted. On the 5th day I bolted the caster to the fabricated plate and lowered the Jack. The tire looked low so I checked the pressure and it lost 20psi in 5 days with no weight on it.It is not of the reliable ‘tubeless’ design but a tube type tire, which anyone knows holds air for just a week or so. I looked closely at all the pics the vendor posted on Amazon and maybe it’s just me, but no pics show a tube type valve stem and no pics or description states tubeless or tube type. Could that be intentional to hide the fact that every 5 days you need to add air?I would have paid twice the price for tubeless, because temp affects pressure (just like car tires) but tube type naturally lose air all the time. The rear tubeless tires on the log splitter have maintained the set pressure for three weeks. I would expect nothing less from a company that touts their (pneumatic) casters as being ‘High Quality’!Maybe they should include ‘tube type’ or ‘tubeless’ in the description for mechanics like me that know inner tubes suck!!

Pneumatic casters are the real deal

I bought and modified a cart to use on construction sites. The plastic casters it came with were junk.... replaced them with rubber casters, and they still were not great. I splurged and got these pneumatic casters, and wish I would have gotten them earlier... completely changed the feeling of the cart, and they are QUIET! Goes through uneven terrain and bumps with ease and no noise. I take this thing down city sidewalks and through gravel and it handles it with grace.Yes, the casters are expensive (they cost as much as I paid for the entire cart), but if you want smooth and quiet casters that can handle bumps, you need to go with pneumatic. I haven't had any problems with the tires getting flat spots or losing pressure so far (3 months).

Quality costs a bit more .

I wanted a 3rd wheel on my garden trailer so I could use it when disconnected from my garden tractor . Smaller , very common 10" wheels might not roll well on lawn. This should fit my use well . It seems well constructed . The only thing I was not happy with was the price . 5 times more expensive than the common 10" wheels . If it performs well , I'll eventually forget about the cost .

Smooth, even on tough terrain

I used these wheels on a dollie that I made to move the top part of a mudroom bench that weighed about 60lbs. It moved so well on the grass even where there was an incline up to my driveway. Really well constructed and sturdy. I highly recommend these.

Good value.

Difficult to lock/unlock wheels.

Casters are great for large & heavy items

Casters are great for large & heavy items. I built a cabinet for my 12" bench drill press, because of the terrain I go over with it I thought the bigger wheel and rubber would make it easier to travel. Also I put 4 swivel casters on it. First mistake the cabinet with drill press probably isn't heavy enough, it is a little hard to get started rolling and hard to control with 4 swivel casters. I ordered 2 stationary casters and it improved rolling and maneuverability greatly. Also 2 of the swivel casters have locking levers and they are not working very well at all, one of them doesn't lock the wheel up at all. I will order these again when I have the correct cabinet weight and size.

They are expensive

Definitely heavy duty but too expensive

R**.

Too expensive for their performance.

Tires not except air because the valve stems were in screwed into tight. The tires have too much tread on them and they would be much easier to work with if they were bald so to speak. I had to take them off and exchange them for other tires. The grill stand weighs about 450 lbs. The brake pedals did not retract far enough to totally clear the tires.
