Way better than stock Scion IQ speakers!!
Used to improve sound in a Scion IQ in the doors and in the back. They are awesome! The install was pretty easy using brackets with wire adapters from Amazon for the front doors. I used the same brackets for the rear speakers and I had to modify the brackets quite a bit, but they turned out great. I wish I had done this years ago. 80% of the sound improvement comes from the doors, but it was worth it doing the rear speakers too.

Great Entry-Level Speakers When Used Properly
These Kicker speakers sound fantastic and handle the power from my modest Alpine amplifier (45 watts per channel) with ease. Clear and crisp and balanced even at higher volumes. Full disclosure I run these with a 80hz HPF and let my subwoofer handle the real bass. If you don’t have a sub these speakers are spec’d to play down to 40 hz and can do it at modest volume and will sound fine, they do have average to above average mechanical excursion abilities but don’t expect miracles. Entry-level speakers like these often get a bad rep because many DIY installers expect them to completely transform their system on their own. It’s important to understand that these speakers are designed to replicate—or slightly improve—factory performance using better materials, while being robust enough to handle modest amplification and work using factory wiring and harnesses. Without adding an amplifier, proper sound deadening, or paying attention to details like the the condition of your door’s vapor barrier or any other air (sound) leaks, even great speakers can sound weak and may only match the performance of stock speakers—unless the originals were severely deteriorated. Lastly, for those wondering, the 6.5" and 6.75" version of these Kicker speakers are functionally identical in mounting patterns and included grills are identical, so installation was straightforward. The 6.5 has slightly less mounting depth and would be the one I would recommend if you’re one the fence between the two sizes. Having used both sizes the I consider any sound difference betwen the 6.5 and 6.75 imperceptible. If you’re realistic about what these speakers are designed for and install them thoughtfully, they’ll absolutely deliver.

Great speaker that doesn't break the bank
The sound is great. When powered with a proper amp they kick (pun intended) pretty good. Could be tuned more for bass too if you have the ability. Great value if you need some decent upgrades for your car. It also came with all the hardware needed to mount it (minus the adapter to the car door which is specific to the vehicle) which was nice. good fitment

2004 Lexus LX470 front door speaker replacement
My factory Mark Levinson amp died so I replaced it with an aftermarket amp that has Bluetooth. I needed 4 ohm speakers for the front doors (the factory speakers are 8 ohms). These fit perfectly with no modifications needed. I hooked up the factory mids and tweets in the doors also using 100 UF bass blockers. Sounds great. Don’t wire in the 2.5” factory mids without using bass blockers or you’ll just blow them out.

Good replacement
Was not all that impressed to be honest with the sound. I have a two channel Cerwin Vega amp hooked to them and the sound is ok but nothing I would brag about. They look really nice on my Harley. Can’t expect big sound out of a little speaker I suppose. Is what it is. They are installed now and I definitely am not about to tear it back apart.

Worked out with some modifications
I used these in my 95 gmc safari. According to crutchfield this part number is a perfect fit for the dashboard.. nope... lol.. there is a small bracket on the original speaker that needs to go onto the new speaker, which it did. But, the original speaker is slightly smaller between the 4 screw holes. I had to grind down a section between two screw holes to allow it to slip in all the way. Worked out fine. If you compare the shape of the old and new you will see what needs to come off.. astro vans are the same thing by the way.
