Better than any other shooter
If you want to play a game thats full of action , this is the game you want. I have never played a game that had so many weapons before. There are so many good things about this game that theyre are virtually no bad signs. the campaign is pretty good. some levels add more challenge with the enemies. Campaign is a 9/10 in my opinion. the multiplayer is phenomenal . if you buy the ultimate edition it will alow you to have some pretty cool stuff for multiplayer. the multiplayer is full of action and their are different game modes. some for taking objectives to some that are like team deathmatch. the weapons all have good power. there are four different classes to use. assault, engineer, recon and medic. its fun to try to complete all of the classes so you wont be bored with the same weapons. the recon class has a realistic feature to it. bolt action snipers have gravity drop so if you see a enemy at a long distance, aim a tiny bit above him. the graphics are nice and there are a good amount of achievements for xbox players and trophies for ps3 players. if you want to have even MORE fun with the game , get the add on pack called Vietnam. its a great add on and puts a more intersting view on the game. multiplayer is a 10/10. If you want to step up from a call of duty game, choose this. you wont regret it. P.S.- best pistol is the m1911

Great online game
Bad company 2 is a great game, especially if you are looking for something different for a first person shooter. The single player aspect of the game is nothing to talk about. I enjoyed the story and the entertaining characters. Its a good way to get integrated into the games mechanics and the various guns but offers little replay value. The online multiplayer is where you will keep coming back day after day. The multiplayer offers several different modes of play over several large maps. One mode, Conquest, has your team trying to hold various spots on the map from the opposing side. Rush mode allows one team to be the attacker and one to be the defender. The attacker has to destroy different objectives on the map to win while the defenders try to hold them off. The game also offers your standard death match as well. The ultimate edition comes with VIP maps that you would have had to purchase if you got the regular edition, so thats a nice edition. It also comes with Onslaught which allows you and three other friends to try and complete co-op levels together, another nice touch. Another nice feature is that only members of your squad can talk to on their mics so no more having to listen to people scream or play music you cant stand in the background. Over all the game is great, there are a few glitches that either freeze the game or kick you offline but they are few and far between. The inclusion of vehicles and destructible environments in the multiplayer makes this a truly intense experience.

Fantastic Deal!!!
I bought the game three days before Christmas and it arrived in two days (in spite of the arrival estimation of 5-8 days). The game came brand new in a cardboard box and included 2 game codes, one for VIP map packs and another for Onslaught + Battlefield. When starting out the campaign at first, I felt weird controlling the character, it felt heavier than the controls I was used to in CoD: Modern Warfare 2. However, after going through the campaigns I was exposed to a lot of new weapons and vehicles Bad Company 2 had to offer.Story -- Compared to MW2 the story isn't very good, I didn't think it was very captivating. However, the big explosions, jaw-dropping graphics, and feet-shaking sounds totally made up for it.The best thing about the campaign was that it was very lifelike, the voice of the soldiers was authentic enough and the features of the weapons was believable (there is a heaviness when raising a weapon). Even though I put it on Easy Mode I still find it difficult to make it through certain levels where I was on my own.Sound -- The sound in Bad Company 2 is very good, the blast of a rifle or the thump of a grenade launcher is really authentic. Furthermore, I really like the fact that EA added the "shell-shock" effect when a soldier is momentarily deafened after a rpg or grenade blows up close to them. The environment and background music also helps envelops a player into the scenes. Sometimes I felt very nervous when going through a forest alone as enemy soldiers suddenly pops up behind and ambush me.Graphics -- I think one of the things that make Bad Company 2 comparable to MW2 is the graphics, each detail is intricately put together and if it was not for the pixel distortion at times I would say it is better than MW2's. There were a lot more explosions involved and more vehicles to control and that adds to the fun. However, one cannot ignore the effects of Destruction 2.0, you can basically bring down any tree or brick to rubble with a machine gun, grenade launcher, or artillery. One of my favorite thing to do is shoot down enemy choppers and see the individual armor fall off piece by piece. So if you like MW2 or any other FPS you're going to love Battlefield: Bad Company 2, buy from Amazon, it's more inexpensive than anywhere else I could find, trust me, I did my research. Don't buy a used game, you risk losing the VIP map codes and Onslaught + 1943 codes (they are void once entered.) Have fun playing!!
