We purchased this for my niece's birthday. She really wanted one after seeing her grandma play hers. The price was good, but there were a few problems.1) The paint was scratched in a few places and oversprayed in others. The box it came in was fine, so I guess it was scratched between production and packaging.2) The strings that came with it are pretty bad. They had a horrible trouble staying in tune, so we took it to a music shop and had them replaced for free.Other than that, it was OK. Good for the price. Good for kids who might lose interest in playing or might not take care of a real guitar.

This guitar is well made. Sounds good for its price. While I am not a teacher or accomplished musician, I can say with great confidence that this guitar is definately worth the price I paid of $30. I purchased it for my daughter because I have her on the weekends so she needs a practice guitar that she can play with and make noise, she was very delighted when I gave this guitar to her for her birthday. It sounds loud and my daughter has learned to play a few songs on it. She eventually wants an electric but for now this model will have to suffice. She has had it for well over a year and I can say the guitar has not broken down. The design is pretty solid and it features a faded pink color. Im satisfied.

My daughter is obsessed with Taylor Swift and wanted a guitar. It is pretty sturdy. Both my 5 year old and 2 year old have abused this guitar and it has held up.I had problems with attaching the strap, but she really does not use it. My main complaint is that my husband and I cannot teach her how to play it. If only it came with a free guitar instructor. :)Good product for my child to play with.

durable so far....only problem is I had a musician attempt to show my daughter how to play and was told that this THING WILL NOT TUNE PROPERLY!!!! So...I guess for what it's worth, it is do-able - - just know that if you are looking for the REAL thing...you may want to purchase the REAL thing! ....and this is certainly NOT the real thing!

Thought I'd found what would be a good starter package for a young friend with musical promise. But this one was a big disappointment. It was to be a Christmas present, but that didn't happen. Apparently these are produced in various colors, which was part of what got my attention. However, apparently they are also produced quickly and not so carefully or with less than quality materials. Upon arrival I opened and inspected the instrument and the included accessories... all there. But then I proceeded to tune the instrument. First time tuning for a new instrument requires some extra care as each string is tightened it will affect the others until they are all quite close to proper tune.I was unable to bring the instrument even close to proper tune at all because the neck actually began to separate from the body of the guitar as I began tightening the strings. Had I continued, the neck would have come off entirely.Very disappointed!

My daughter begged me for a guitar so I searched amazon and came up with this one. Looked great, price was right. Got here and my little one was happy but not so much me. The paint on it was chipped and peeling, the strings fall off- no matter if you tighten the screws or not it just lets go, the strap has no place to attach. I would have returned this the second I opened it. However I am a softy and my little one gave me a hard time about returning this non functional, missing paint guitar. Well, all I can say it’s well loved even though not usable for what it was meant for. Better off being very expensive dental floss.

I bought this for my 10 year old grand daugthter and she loved it. The size was perfect for her and it is very sturdy. The only issue we had was that there was no knob to hook one end of the strap to the guitar, and the placement of the labels needs a diagram. We figured out one of them by looking at another guitar, but never did put the other one on. Other than those two things, this is the perfect guitar for a 10 year old girl. I know others have said the color wasn't as pink as the picture shows but I couldn't tell any difference. I would purchase another one just like this if the need came up.

second guitar from donnk- first one was damaged cost me a fortune to return second one was missing the bag and accessories and to get them I was going to have to return it too at my expense once again -couldn't afford to return and did not have the time to since it was a gift for my granddaughters birthday. kept it without the bag and accessories, amazon did credit me for the missing parts . to return you have to pay shipping cost (for their mistake) a 20% restocking fee and do not get credit for original shipping from donnk for their mistakes and damaged items. you could understand paying these fees if you just didn't want the item, but for damaged and incomplete orders they should be held responsible.
