Once opened, and refrigerated, what is the expected shelf-life? Contemplating the 1/2 gallon bottle as a refill for the small bottle...

I only have the small bottles, but I've had one sitting for nearly two years and it's fine. Plus if you love hot sauce, this will last you a year.

OK so i know it is not hot sauce. what are the ingredients ? Most hab- sauce is not hot. But sweet & made with carrots. Convince me.

This sauce is spicy hot and sweet at the same time. It has almost a Tamarind nectar flavor. The spiciness builds up on you and you will feel it after you have eaten several spoonfuls of it or mixed with the food. I am from India and you know we eat VERY spicy foods. To me this is spicy hot enough to make your eyes tear and your nose drip if you are not used to hot spicy sauces.

Price per ounces aren’t adding up how big is every bottle ? Description says 10.2, bottle says 8 but none of those add up to price per ounce listed?

I recently bought 2 bottles. Both bottles say 8 fluid ounces on them.

Are the 6 bottles 10.5oz or 8oz? Description says 10.5 but the photo of the label says 8...

Secret Aardvark changed the unit of measure printed on the bottles from 10.5 ounces (oz) by weight to 8 fluid ounces (fl oz) by volume. They are equivalent as the bottle size and fill has not changed, but it can be confusing.

Great balance of heat and flavor

This is my absolute favorite hot sauce to date. It’s got some heat but also lots of flavor. In my opinion it’s the perfect balance and it’s great on everything. Reviewing after my third bottle.

Most versatile hot sauce

I have been using Aardvark hot sauce for years now and am glad that it has gained popularity and is easier to find. It is such a versatile hot sauce - you can put it on practically anything. It has a really thick texture and rich taste - not watery and vinegary like some of the cheaper brands. Makes a great gift for anyone who enjoys some spice.

Tasty, versatile, and packs a punch!

Best hot sauce out there. I’ve been buying this hot sauce for the last 4 years and I average a bottle a month. This sauce single handedly turned my can’t-handle-spicy husband into someone who can tolerate a decent amount of heat!! The flavor is DELICIOUS and not vinegary like so many others. It’s got a good amount of heat too, a little goes a long way. I put this on basically everything (except Asian foods which call for sriracha or an Asian hot sauce). Note: must be refrigerated after opening!
