Did not get the remote for it but loved it

I purchased this for my daughter's 10th birthday. She loves it! The horse head is made of a plastic material that is sturdy. It is thin and slides nicely into the sleeve of the base. No issues with it standing up perfectly! The colors are bright and the option to select a solid stay color or transition from one to another is great. I would recommend this product!

I gave this as a gift at my barn's Secret Santa Christmas party. When the recipient received it, they opened it and showed it to everyone. I was delighted by the size and quality. I was on a tight budget for the party, and I was scared it would seem cheap. It did not! In fact, I wished that I had gotten one!! I loved it. It looked great!! I highly recommend!!

Perfect! I bought this thinking it had to be plugged in and had a remote. . .but it is a touch lamp, it has a battery pack were you can put battery's or it comes with a cord were you can plug it in if you want... it even has a fade setting, has a fast flash setting and a slow flash setting. 100% worth it!

I was looking for a horse related Grand Prize Winner gift for a Painted Horseshoe Hunt I do every year to promote our local Charity Horse Show. This looked good, so I ordered it. It made the perfect gift for this year’s lucky winner!

This beautiful horse's head was a bit taller than I had planned on but that is fine. I simply moved it to a different spot in my cabinet. The different colors are beautiful and the only problem that I have with this is the fact that when I turn it on to the color changing mode, it is just too rapid for my taste. The online product instructions were not really clear on how to do that but I was finally able to figure it out. Only press it 4 times instead of the 8 mentioned. (No instructions were included.) I like this so much that I am actively looking for another one of these only this time I think I would like a remote with it. I also purchased this from Amazons "pre owned" section and was again very pleased with the unblemished item.

Very disappointing. There is simply no 3D illusion to it at all. It is a plastic acrylic plate with the image drawn on it that you put into a base with a light that shines up into the acrylic which is exactly what it looks like, even in pitch black. To top it off the power source is either three AA batteries or a USB cord. In regard to the batteries, for some reason the middle slot is much thinner than the slots on either side of it so that I was afraid I was going to break the plastic dividing wall when I put the middle battery in. Also if you do use this as a night light how long are the batteries really going to last? As for the USB cord, why? I guess I should have read the fine print. Dopey me, I thought that most night lights plug into the wall. Well, I guess in all fairness this one will if you have a USB cord adapter plugged in first. Also the USB is a very odd fit. All it will take is one impatient person to shove the USB cord in and mess up the little prongs inside and it will no longer be possible to use the USB cord. I do not recommend at all.

At first I didn’t see any directions but there are only 3 pieces in the box, you just have to make sure you fully take the box apart to get to the bottom. In any case the dinosaur looks exactly as pictured, and in the dark you can’t see the plexiglass around the design. Best part —-you can change between 5 colors and the fifth mode is a session that rotates five colors every 3 seconds. Totally cool! For an inexpensive gift it makes the grade, I would buy more as there are many styles out there! BUT one tiny problem I had but was able to fix ... the plastic seemed slightly thinner than the slot that it sits in where the light comes out. I took some clear scotch tape and put it on the bottom (one layer thick on each side) at the bottom of the clear plastic base. This enabled a better fit for the slot on the black base. I am not at all concerned that this is a fire hazard or not safe—the output is extremely low and is already made out of all plastic parts. I confidently have it in my sons room without any worries and we have had it on everyday, almost endlessly, most days with no problems! Buy confidently!
