My guns takes 3 inch shells. Will these work with it?

Shotgun shell length is based on uncrimped length. Thus, a 2-3/4" shell UNCRIMPED becomes 2-1/4" CRIMPED. Just measure some live shells versus fired hulls to verify.

What size are these things? 2 3/4 in minimum?

These are representative of 2 3/4 shells. The measurment is of a shell BEFORE crimping. That's why a 2 3/4 brass or steel shell appears longer, because they're capped instead of rolled. These measure closer to 2 1/6 long, which is about the same as a crimped 00 buck from most live ammo brands. These will represent normal shells just fine.

Anyone try with Benelli M4?

I tried these in my M4, and I wouldn’t recommend it. The snap caps don’t have a smooth beveled edge like a real shell, and the sharp corners cause them to be difficult to load and feed. I don’t like them at all and will never put them back in my Benelli.

Will they work with semi auto shotguns?

Yes they will work all semi automatic shotguns and pump action shotguns
