I needed these to make headband stands and they worked great. There are many projects you can do with the sticks.

I used these to fix sagging/stripped door hinges (drilled out the existing screw holes, cut the dowels, applied wood glue to the dowels, hammered them into the door frame, let them dry/set, then re-hung the door), and they worked great! My only concern when I ordered was that they may be warped (would have made them useless for my purposes), but they were absolutely straight.

I use these dowels to help kids create "wizard wands" similar to the Harry Potter story. They sand the wand into the shape they want with sand paper and paint it with acrylic paint. Hot glue forms a good handle and *TADA* you have a nifty wand that kids love.

Be cautious these are hobby dowels, loose tolerance. I ordered 4 packs not one dowel is 0.375. Max size is 0.36 they will work with a 3/8 hole and some glue but are a very loose fit.

Use these in Kaisers condominium. Made a few perches of different heights. He seems to like them .
