Excellent Children's Poems

My daughter insists we read Ken Nesbitt every night before bed. His clever use of rhyming poems has her laughing up until the point we turn out the lights. He has a special gift for creating interesting scenes and vivid depictions of some of the most absurd juxtapositions from his imagination. This is a great book for children just learning to appreciate puns and double meanings.

Found this book in my Grandsons lessons today

This book was brought up in my Grandsons lessons today. He's working on poems. We decided to see if we could find the book! Both boys enjoyed reading the poems, and it was wonderful to be able to tie it to what he was learning.

Kid's humor...

Great gift for our 7 year old. She thought it was hilarious and we were glad to see her love of reading extend to poetry. Some of the humor is a bit crude, but nothing concerning.
