so far so good , little expensive however it works perfect UPDATE Sometimes , the factory screen will flicker and not light up , the controls and functions will still work ( As long as you can remember what button to hit without seeing it on the screen ) The back up camera will work when you put the truck in reverse however the screen will go black again when you shift out of reverse This kit would have been a home run if it was not for this problem I did update the unit before install ( requires the wire harness to power up ) so you need to do this before you install all the wire harnesses , Metra will not sell you any piece of this kit! The tech support was not very helpful ( they like to deal with installers )>>>this is my opinion>>> they deal with people with assorted backgrounds related to car electronics and that is not easy, This unit is the only answer if you want to upgrade the audio in this truck and does a good job if you can live with a blank factory screen from time to time Check the mylar plugs and jacks on the wire harnesses , they are sloppy and you may have problems if you don't correct any sloppy plugs before install solder all connections where you can and I used a good chassis ground instead of the factory wire ( as per tech support) I think the brain to the unit does not properly switch the can bus signal from the truck to the screen!.... I think the signal from the truck is to weak for the electronics they are using Please let me know if you have this problem and better still if there is a fix for it PS , I tried a dif brain to no avail

Metra 99-7620B Installation Kit for Nissan Armada and Pathfinder 2008-2013 (Black) UPDATE: I was allowed to return this DEFECTIVE product after almost 3 months of back and forth discussions with Amazon and Metra. I go online tonight after my credit was issued to order a NEW kit only to find Amazon RELISTED THE DEFECTIVE PRODUCT THEY SOLD ME and described word for word omitting the product is faulty in addition to the cosmetic damage. I do not know where to even start on this review! It has now been more than six weeks and this product is still not working. The OEM unit will not power on although all wires are properly hooked up and the box has been updated per the directions. After five weeks my Pioneer DIN began working after my husband redid all of the wire as the harnesses are not lined up properly to what my Nissan Armada has. He has contacted Metra on several occasions and even emailed photos as they suggested but never receives a return call. After paying install fee and uninstall fee for over 300.00 I still had a non-functional Aftermarket stereo. The installation directions are not accurately reflected toward a Nissan Armada therefore the easy installation as is reflected is far from true. If I would not be out over 1300 I would send this item back in a heartbeat.

After being installed for a few months the unit failed on me and now my heating and cooling buttons aren't working. It's not displaying the right temperature on the display or registering my mpg and temperature. Cant turn heat up or down or control the fan. I checked all the fuses too.

The kit looks great, but not all of the functions work. The time resets every time I start the car, which I could live with. The bigger problem is that the screen goes black when I put my Pathfinder in reverse, instead of switching to the back up camera. Everything is connected properly, and I've done the firmware update. Still have this issue. The recommendation from Metra's Tech Support..."Buy an aftermarket camera." That's an unacceptable answer, considering I bought their kit to keep using my back up camera. Edit: Shortly after I posted this review, the tech support at Metra emailed me a new firmware update which solved the back up camera issue. They also told me that the clock reset was a result of the module re-initializing every time I started the car, which it shouldn't be doing. They said it's likely because of a power supply issue and gave me a few recommendations on fixing that. I'm just waiting to get with someone a little more knowledgeable on those things to actually do the work. I'm much happier with the unit now.

Kit fit and looks really nice it’s just a odd setup with 2 screens had to do some trim for my double din to fit but everything went into place!!

I did finally get this product to work but it took some time. The technician from Metra walked me through each troubleshooting step and was completely patient. after about an hour we determined it was the interface. I had to get a new one and it worked fine. My wife loves the new radio and has had no issues after about a weeks worth of use. I recommend the product but it may not always work the first time.

Did not work! $350 paperweight, I installed it how the manual said, then I let two professional installers look at it and the call center was less than helpful
