Great product!
Beautiful hammock, rope is great quality, is soft and supports my fiance and I - 400lbs total - with no issue. Well worth the price.

May be tricky to connect - plan ahead
The rings at the ends of the hammock do not come with attached chains. The rings are fairly thick. With the chain that I already had, the standard locking carabiners were either too big or too small to fit both the ring and my stout stainless steel chain. I initially tried some D-ring aluminum carabiners that I already had, but they were not strong enough. Ultimately, I found "open link chain connectors" at the hardware store. Looks like the right hook carabiner or anchor shackle may work as well, but plan for this issue.I am happier than I expected to be. The material is indeed softer than the cotton ones I've had in the past. I figured that synthetics would be harder, but turns out that cotton gets very hard once it gets wet. This one has been unchanged by the rain. I used to always use a blanket on the hammock, but you don't really need one with this.Nicely made. Seems very durable.I bought it in green and my daughter thought that was a mistake as the traditional looks is white. I find he green blends into the yard and calls less attention to the hammock. I like the green color. So, plan for the connection issues. Great product.

beautiful, well made and comfortable
Love this hammock, it is well made, holds its shape and looks beautifully stylish. Sold by a small company that really cares about their product and when I had an issue with shipping, they responded and reacted immediately to fix the issue to my satisfaction. I would give 6 stars if that was an option.

Cheaper Almost Always Has Hidden Costs
This was my third replacement net for a 13x6 steel-frame hammock. The original came with the steel frame, was made of cotton, was extremely comfortable, did not last. The second was made of nylon, was very comfortable, and lasted several years (much longer than the original). This one is too narrow, too stretchy (but weirdly doesn't stretch much in length), is shorter than its manufacturer's claim of 13' . I had to buy chains and S-hooks to make it fit. And though it was relatively cheap, I suspect I will pay the difference in nap quality down the road if the rain ever stops. I will attempt to force it to be durable my taking the net in and hanging it in the garage after every use. Will update someday probably.

This is a good hammock, and I'm glad I bought it.
After reading a lot of reviews,I was hesitant to make a choice on this hammock. Some said it was awful and others said it was great. So I ordered it not knowing what I would get.I am replacing a five year old hammock that was breaking apart.I won't mention the brand. My new Carribean hammock arrived today. The steel rings on each end are bigger and better made. The ropes are larger more more sturdier.I hung it where the old one was on two post and it did stretch a good bit.But after taking in a few links on the chain it is fine.I gave it five stars on comfort and sturdiness, but time will tell on durability.I suspect it will do well.I would recommend this to a friend.A word of caution. I don't know how this would work on a hammock stand,Since it does stretch. Once it's broken in, you won't want to get out of it!

Beautiful rope hammock.
Caribbean Rope Hammock in Tan: This is a great rope hammock and exactly what I was looking for. I paired it with the Algoma 15ft Russian Pine Wood Arc Hammock Stand and couldn’t be happier with my selections. It is comfortable and looks great on the wood stand. I’ve not tried it with two people lying down but it sure works for a 6’ 2” guy weighing over 200 lbs. When laid flat on the floor (without tension), the space between the 55”-wide spreader bars is about 78”and another 21” on each end from the spreader bar to the O-ring. The rope is spun polyester (same as what you can buy in the hardware store for use on a flagpole or boat) so you should expect some stretching (quite a bit initially). This kind of rope is initially very soft and stretchy but tends to stiffen and become less soft over time in the elements so you may want to keep that in mind when purchasing a hammock stand. I’d suggest going with at least a 13’ or 14’ stand for this hammock. It really is a beautiful hammock and the rope construction is top-notch. I’ll probably buy another when this one wears out.

Solid hammock but long time to dry
Selected this hammock mainly because of the color and positive reviews. Fairly easy to set up between two trees using mounting straps (sold separately). Comfortable, but did end up purchasing a longer flat pillow for neck support. My only complaint is that it takes forever to dry after it rains, it may dry faster if it were in the sun instead of shade.
