This is one of the best purchases I’ve made on Amazon! It’s a simple item but it does its job well. Sturdy build, functional, secure. At first the clip seemed a bit stiff and difficult to get keys in and out, but as I soon found, that’s what makes it so secure. After using it for a few days and figuring out the best way to use one hand to clip my key ring on and off the clip, now I can easily place and remove my keys from this clip and not worry about whether they’re going to fall off the clip.

How to hang the keys, my personal dilemma. After ripping a few belt loops on my jeans, I had started wearing my belt through my key carabiner, instead of ripping another belt loop. This of course worked better, but the top of my daily-wear belt has been curling from the bend in the carabiner pressing downward on it. I was looking for something that fit on the belt better. I just found this the other day. Ordered yesterday. Came today. It's the right price. No folded titanium spring, like others I had looked at, either. Worked easily, the three times I have removed keys from it so far. My belt is sitting much flatter. All this shouldn't be amazing. It's just being itself, doing it's job. It does a good job. Worth buying.

So I saw some effeminate types complaining how hard they had to press the metal portion of the retainer in to remove the keys. Well snowflake, that's the point. To secure your keys. I ride a motorcycle and need to know that my keys are going to be there when I arrive at my destination, this key retainer ensures that happening. A solid press of the thumb and they come right out. I like it.

Overall I like the key chain holder and would buy it again. The good: It is very sturdy, you will not lose your keys. It is easy to slide on my wide leather belt. It also looks nice. I also really like that my keys do not rattle as much with this key hook as my keys did with my old "S" clip key hook. The okay: It is a little stiff and can be difficult to un-clip the keys. After clipping it on and off multiple times during my workday, I was able to figure out how to un-clip it with one hand. That might be a negative for some people, but it works for me. The only change I would make is that I wish the key hook was a little flatter. In other words, it easily slides on my belt. I would prefer that it tightly gripped my belt so it would not slide.

The idea is a good one but is a little hard to take the keys in and out of the belt clip since the hook at front is not that easy to pull the keys from it

I have been looking for a nice secure key clip for ages and this one is very strong. Most of the other key clips on here were either slip on (which means it could slip off) or easily breaks. This one however you'd need to physically slip your belt though it. The metal is a bit harder than other key clips to press and open but it will definitely make sure your keys won't get lost!

Unlike many key holders that clip onto your belt, this one slips on with no way to fall odd unless you undo the belt. It is large enough to accommodate most heavy work belts. The metal is strong and sturdy. It does take some pressure to hook and unhook but I like that so the key ring doesn’t disconnect unexpectedly. Simple and well made.

When I first started using it, it felt overly stiff but I got used to it quickly. Very secure, if it feels too stiff at first give it some time.

Very sturdy - should last forever, BUT the spring hook is very, very stiff. I put a split ring on the hook and connect my keys to it.
