good value
this is amazing value for the money. it it not the best quality floyd rose style bridge by far, but it works, and is functional and unbelievably cheap. The fit and finish and metal quality is a big deal, and that is what I have the most reservation about. But the sheer price and fact is usable is good value for the money. I received it very quickly as well. The trem arm would not fully tighten on my particular example. But it made an inexpensive guitar usable - and therefore made it worth fixing.

Best buy for the price! Brought a junk guitar back from the dead!
Bought this to bring a busted guitar back from the dead. Got it installed and I'm impressed! I am by no means a Floyd guy, I have one guitar with an OFR on it that sits in the case. This saved the guitar from the dumpster, I got it installed, set level and it holds tune, actually very well, and didn't cost any more than the vintage trems I use on my parts caster builds. I would def recommend this if you need to replace a cheap unit on a beater guitar.

Excellent trem for the money
This trem is actually a really good trem that I was originally skeptical of because of the 11 dollar price tag. The only reason this lost a star is because of the difficulty of installing, if this is your first time replacing a bridge be very careful. I retrofitted this on an old 90's Fernandes that did not have a trem but was a hard tail (so yeah I routed for it.) So if doing the same measure twice, double check, then measure again, the check again and then measure one more time and you should be good to cut. The finish and construction of it is actually really good, the cost is cut in the block and saddles where the block is pot metal and the saddles are aluminum, the string clamps, screws, pressure plate (the little piece sandwiched to give the fine tuners pressure), claw and base plate are all steel. The nut and clamps seem to be aluminum but work well. The paint is really well done as well and looks to be an industrial coat cause it doesn't scuff easy (I got the black one). The springs are a little weak so replace them and the tone block is small but replace with a new block and you're good. I have an OFR to compare it to and below is the comparison as I see it. OFR This Floyd Steel base Steel base Steel block Pot metal block Steel clamps Steel clamps Steel screws Steel screws Steel claw Steel claw Steel saddles Aluminum saddles As I said there is not much different than an OFR from the 80's or 90's Now here is probably one of the beast things about it. This IS LICENSED under Floyd Rose Patent and says it on it, although a licensed is considered lower end for an FR the fact they had enough similarities in construction tells you it should be comparable to something like a FR Special. The only con is it does not come with the bar that goes behind the nut. My guitar had an angled head stock so I didn't need it but if you are fitting this on a strat style guitar then those have flat head stocks so plan on buying the bar too. This is a great product for the price and yes I will be buying another one to have as a spare.

Nice bridge.
I was surprised at how heavy the bridge is. It feels very solid. Looks good, it lined up with the old "real" floyd rose studs perfectly, but the posts had different threads. All the installation parts were there. Some instructions would have been nice, but there are plenty "how to" instructions for it on YouTube.

Good price but...
Well, The tremolo actually fit good on my old charvel which had a generic tremolo with 71mm center to center installation studs, believe it or not, (The right distance for Floyd Rose trems is 74 mm) I didn't have to plug and redrill the holes, but, just when I thought I had gotten a great deal I found out that the tremolo bar threads are different from the ones on the tremolo itself, (see pic), so I requested a replacement and another one was sent but it had the same problem, I wish I had read more of the reviews because there are others who have had the same problem, but anyway, I'll keep the first one they sent me and return the replacement, I'll just have to buy a tremolo bar with the right threads, the tremolo works great though! But I can only give it 3 stars because of that problem. Check out the before and after pics I uploaded, the new tremolo looks awesome, I still can't believe it fitted so well! It saved me a lot of plugging and drilling that I thought I was going to have to do on my old Charvel. Update Feb 27, 2021 I bought an original Floyd Rose bar and all I had to do was countersink the instalation hole in the tremolo and voila! See new added pic, I paid 14.00 for the Floyd bar here at Amazon, and now it's fully functional.

Measure your guitar before ordering to make sure it will fit
Wrong size not accurate description will not fit a dean guitar such as a warlock or dean guitars period no real install instructions great for a build your own but does not work as a replacement my friend routed out his fender affinity hard tail and did his own work so the piece works well just real sure of your definitions. Complete junk. You get what you pay for.
At first this seems like a great value. However, once you assemble everything and properly install it, you realize just how poor this bridge is. From a trem bar that doesn't properly seat that has a vinyl bushing that is way too small in diameter, to various screws/fine tuners that immediately strip upon tightening. It's actually quite comical just how bad this bridge really is. It does look like a decent knockoff Floyd Rose, so... I guess this bridge is fine if you have no intention of ever playing the guitar.

So far, I have only been able to find one problem with this kit. The holes drilled and tapped into the nut from the top are not perpendicular to the top surface. If they were, the lockdown blocks would be a nice neat fit. As is, the blocks cannot make full contact with the strings and may risk cutting into them over time. It's possible that this is a one-off and that other customers do not have the same problem. Pictured is a spare black nut, and a chrome nut as ordered and delivered. The size and shape of the chrome nut is better suited for my application, but the black nut shows the lockdown bolt at a correct angle that is capable of securing the lockdown block. To make the chrome nut work, my options are to either sand back the rear edge of the blocks, or re-drill the blocks at an angle. I'm torn about what rating to give, because the rest of the kit looks great. So I'm giving it 3 stars, but if a replacement nut with correct angles were to magically appear, it would be 5 stars.
