Please like and move this up
This is an important review. Please like and move this up. It will help people. Before i bought a case for my new phone, I managed to drop it a couple times and the rear camera glass cracked. The camera functioned perfectly, but the glass was busted up when I ordered this replacement kit. When it arrived, I was surprised that there weren't any instructions on installation. They didn't include a link to a YouTube video either. No information at all. The reason is, while the installation process isn't very difficult, and can be done by patient amateurs, the electronic components like the rear camera etc are extremely sensitive, and require a degree of delicate treatment above any other DIY fix and you can EASILY mess up your rear camera in the process if you are not perfect in you work. I found a YouTube video on replacing the glass for my phone and followed it well. I got the old glass off, got all the old adhessive off, and installed the new glass perfectly. After what I thought was a clean install I discovered the Autofocus on the rear camera no longer worked. All photos were now without any focus and blurry. This didn't go away. In hindsight, I think injured the camera component by making gentle contact with the camera using the tools to dislodge glass debris. I probably should have used an air dust can (at a significant distance) to get any debris out of the gap around the lens. In simplest terms, I would NOT touch the camera area at all with the tools you use to scrape the adhesive. The video I watched failed to explain this. Bottom line, this fix isn't difficult. But it's also EXTREMELY easy to destroy the camera in the process. That's why this company doesn't include instructions of any kind, which would make them liable for your broken phone when you follow their instructions and break your phone because it's the first time your doing this and aren't an electronic tech with an understanding about these things. I gave it 3 stars because it's probably a good product. I'd recommend getting a pro to replace the glass. If you can't afford that, I think this kit will work, but you need to know what to do, and what NOT to do.

Perfect replacement
This was a very easy replacement to do (only took about 30 minutes), and the new glass looks and fits exactly like the original. Make sure to take your time to scrape all of the existing adhesive off, and do your best not to get glass stuck down by the camera lens. It's probably unavoidable, but just do your best. As other reviewers have noted (and as what happened to me), it's the main cause of camera auto-focus issues after the replacement: little bits of glass can get down by the camera lens mechanism, hindering its movement and preventing auto-focus. Thankfully, I just needed to hit the top corners of my phone against my hand fairly hard a few times, and the focus started working. When I had the camera lens completely off and cleaned, I blew into the camera cavity pretty hard multiple times, but apparently I still didn't get quite all of the glass shards out. I probably should have used compressed/canned air (although maybe that would just push the shards further in?). I guess, just keep this in mind as a possible side-effect.Regardless, my camera works beautifully and looks great now, so I'm extremely happy. Now I can squeeze even more usage out of this cheap phone :)

Glass fits well. tools kinda lacking.
Well, the glass fits well after I was able to get all the old broken glass and double stick tape off of phone. Looks slightly different than the stock glass, I think the original glass is slightly tinted over the sensors on to the left and right of the camera lens and this one being clear the sensors are much more visible. Does not seem to change its function but just looks different. The tools are pretty worthless though. by the time I had scraped all the old tape off the phone the scraper had both the pick end of it worn off, and the spade end was worn to the point it was blunt. Tweezers were ok for grabbing a loose piece of glass that was between the phone body and the lens of the camera, but lacked the grip to pull off anything still attached by the tape.Only deducting a star because if I had known how bad the tools were I would have ordered a different lens replacement without them. The glass is fine.

Quick fix for my g5+
No instructions but youtube was quick to the rescue. The glass on my phone was completely shattered with a little hole directly in front of the lens. I heated it very little with a heat gun, honestly it probably had no effect on the adhesive. I was a bit nervous after reading the only review for this product, he said he messed up the camera. The broken glass and adhesive came off without issue. I took my time, cleaned it up really well. The replacement glass went on quick and easy. My camera now works as new, maybe even a little better since I know I fixed it myself on the cheap!

Working great
Mine did not come with instructions, but YouTube has several - I recommend you watch several before trying this. The tools included are sufficient. I used only a small bit of heat for softening the existing adhesive; I'm not sure it was necessary. Take your time, watch for any tiny shards of glass that might get in and jam the camera focus mechanism. Clean! Clean! Clean! A dry air blaster source (canned air) is a good idea *after* getting out all the tiny pieces you can find. I had a few camera app start-up errors after changing the glass, but those have gone away. I suspect there was a tiny piece of glass that remained behind, but it is no longer causing trouble and my camera now works like new.

Have some lens cleaner on hand
The kit comes with most of the tools necessary. The pre-applied adhesive makes this super easy to use. The only problem with this kit is the dry and wet wipes were both equally dry. So, make sure you have you own hair dryer or heat gun on hand, as well as lens cleaner. Overall, 10ish dollars to do it yourself vs 60 at a phone repair store. Doesn't take long at all. And make sure you have all the glue and little shards of glass cleaned up before installing the new glass.

Me siento engañada.
No le quedó a mi Moto G5. Fue un engaño. Subí las estrellas porque contacté al fabricante y me harán un reembolso por el total de la compra. Hasta que no me lo hagan, no subiré más las estrellas.

Does not fit the Motorola G5 model XT1670 as advertised.
Too big in diameter by a couple of millimeters; doesn't fit into the camera's glass well...
