DuPont Teflon White Lithium Grease, 16 oz. tub (DGW616101)

My NordikTrack elliptical came with a tiny packet of white grease. We used a little and then tossed the rest as the packaging didn't really lend well to storage. I've had many exercise bikes and such in the past and after greasing them during the initial build I never had to worry about it again. My elliptical started not just squeaking but "jumping". I was afraid if I continued use it would actually cause damage. I was shocked when I went to the NordikTrack website and they did not offer any type of grease. I tried WD-40 and a few other greases that we had around the house and none of them lasted longer than 10 minutes. Through Google I saw this product recommended for NordikTrack elliptical machines and treadmills. We live in a very rural area and tried to find it in local stores. I found a spray-on white lithium grease with Ceflon......it didn't work. Finally broke down and ordered this tub......EXACTLY what my elliptical needed. Works like a champ and with this small tub I have enough to last the life of my elliptical and then some!

Great stuff. I was looking for a Teflon grease sold by a manufacturer for lubing their product. I knew the grease was very good and just any lithium grease would leave you with problems. The recommended grease was made in France and not available in the US except through the manufacturer at a high price. I ordered this and it has been every bit as good as the European grease and I like the can better than the tube the other grease comes in.

I expect grease to be slippery and viscous. This grease is just that. It also has a distinct chemical smell, more so than other lithium greases, but it is not unpleasant, nor would I call it smelly. Its just not unscented. Its also kind of sticky. It'll dispense in thread-like dollops. Put some in my clutch on the pivot point for the throwout fork. I figure the high temperature resistance ought to be better for this application. Seems to have quieted down the moving parts in there nicely.

I use it to grease the tracks on my elliptical. The person the company sent to put a new lift motor in my elliptical said it was fine to use. I was paying $5.00 for a small packet of grease from the company, so I am very happy with this product.

Works as described. This is quality grease applicable to a variety of uses. It should last a long time. Nothing to complain about.
