8 x 1.5 Inch Deep Dish Pie Pan

Nice, heavy construction, arrive in perfect condition. Exactly the size I was hoping for (for baking bread in boule shape). As noted by others, the pan's diameter is 7⅞ inches measured across the outer rims. Inside the rims, the diameter is 7⅛ inches; 5⅞ inches diameter inside bottom; and 1¼ inch deep.

All sources and cookbooks state that pie and baking pans are measured from the inside edge, so that the quantity the pan holds is consistent. This idiot company is measuring from the outside trim! What they are labeling as an 8" pie pan, is actually a 7" pie pan, so Beware!

Nice pan. works well. Seemed to evenly cook pie.I would recommend it.

I use my toaster oven for baking more often than my regular oven so I was looking for a pie plate exactly this size. The product description is misleading so be careful, but thanks to previous Amazon reviews I knew what I was getting and it is just right for me. This pie pan is 6 inches across at the bottom and 8 inches across the outside lip at the top so it fits perfectly in a toaster oven. I adjusted my pie recipe to 2/3 of normal and that was just right to fill this smaller pan. Just baked a perfect small custard pie in my new pan and it was lovely. Pan cleaned up easily and looks like it should hold up well to many years of use.

I was looking for a smaller pie tin in order to cut down on waste. This tin is perfect. Cuts well into fourths, heats excellently, no burn areas. I bake quiche, pies, pot pies, casseroles, etc for two. Perfect for pot luck - no leftovers. I highly recommend it.

This pie pan is supposed to be 8 inches, but it actually fits inside an 8 inch pan. Also, it is very lightweight. However, we did make a mince meat pie in it, and the pie did turn out fine....just small.
