Replacement for Toyota Tundra 2000 to 2006 4.7L V8 Water Pump Drive Belt Camshaft seals Crankshaft seal tensioner roller idler hydraulic adjuster thermostat and gasket

This review is with respect to my 2005 4.7 V8. This kit could easily have been a five star review except for two parts. First, the gasket pictured to the right of the timing belt is metal and looks to be of the correct shape. The one sent to me, two actually, is cardboard and not the correct size. I used RTV sealant instead and have no issues, so far. The second issue, is that the marks on timing belt were 4-5 teeth off. The belt is the correct length and went on as expected despite this; I just made sure that the cam and crank pulley marks all lined up correctly when putting it on (actually, the instructions in the Hayne's manual were most helpful for getting the belt back on this way). All other parts appeared to be of at least as good a quality as those I took off. It is never fun to run into surprises from the part kit since this is a solid day's work and there isn't time to contact the seller for amelioration since you are focused on getting the truck back together.

The kit was an excellent purchase. It was the most comprehensive kit I could find. If you are going to change thetiming belt you need to change all of these other parts too. It was great to have everything come in one order,instead of researching each item individually. Good job in putting this kit together.

A few extra gaskets for things we didn't take off but everything in the kit fit as it was supposed to. Water pump seemed to be of great quality on inspection.4/5 stars given because I would of liked the gaskets packaged better so there was less chance of damage during shipment and when ordering such a collection of parts there really should be a packing list to easily confirm everything that should be there is.

REALY IS AN EXCELLENT SERVICING KIT

I am very unhappy with the kit I received. It came with the wrong Serpentine belt which was too long, the timing belt was not a Mitsuboshi as pictured, it had two incorrect thermostat gaskets and was completely missing the correct thermostat gasket. I would not recommend this kit to anyone. You are better off getting the parts individually even if you have to pay a little more, just to ensure you get what you expect.
