Q: What is the source country for the raw stevia? In what country is the stevia processed?

Thank you for your question. The Stevia is manufactured and processed in the USA by a cGMP compliant facility (meaning they follow all FDA guidelines for manufacturing/packaging). The Country of Origin is China. We choose our suppliers very carefully, and we are lucky to find one who has incredibly strict quality control procedures. Q: Can you actually bake with this??? I use Splenda now, but this is natural, if you can bake, I'd prefer this?????

I use Stevia with dehydrated cane juice or raw sugar. You must have some sugar to crystalize in order for your baked goods to turn out properly. In place of 1 cup of sugar, use 1/3 cup of sugar and about 1/8 teaspoon of stevia. In fruit preserves (jam) use only stevia and then process your filled jars in a canner for 15 minutes. For sweetening puddings, plain stevia works fine. In homemade ice cream, you can cut your sugar in half and use stevia to sweeten. (Ice cream needs sugar to form properly.)

Q: Does it has any aftertaste?

Not with this brand. It's not processed so none of the chemical contaminants in the corporate brands are there, so there's nothing to taste but Stevia. It's just sweet, no shades of other flavors and no aftertaste. I've used this brand over a year. I'm a repeat customer. Took me a long time to find a quality wholesaler packaging just stevia; pure, unadulterated, non-GMO, organic. Just really believe that you only need a pinch, a small pinch, a very small pinch, to sweeten your beverages, cereal or baked goods. Check the internet when you bake. You may need a little sugar and cut back on the stevia for baking.

Q: does this contain dextrose?

It does not contain dextrose. Dextrose is the name of a simple sugar chemically identical to glucose which is usually found in corn based stevia, and we use pure stevia extract, from organic stevia leaves it do not have any artificial ingredient.
