Electricity and Magnetism

This is a very understandable presentation of classical electricity and magnetism with many worked problems. It is great for self study and a much better presentation than the text by Jackson.

Wonderful textbook with a very thorough and logical presentation. Also, a fine and extensive selection of problems, both worked examples and end-of-chapter problems. Highest recommendation.

Nayfeh is my E&M professor. He uses this book for every homework in the class, so I figured I'd hunt it down and buy it. It's a very helpful text with lots and lots of examples. It's fairly well written and easy to use and chocked full of examples. Nothing flashy, but very thorough.

Full of errors and confusing presentation. Why Dover reprinted this book is a mystery. Look elsewhere, for example, Griffiths or Wangsness. Much better books on the same level.
