Shakespeare 4700-1 1' Heavy-Duty Stainless Steel Extension Mast

We used a Shakespeare 4700-1 extension mast to mount a 4' fiberglass antenna and wi-fi radio on a fold-down swivel mount atop our travel trailer. Works like a champ after more than a year and several thousand miles, with no signs of damage or staining.

This extension mast is pretty basic so it is hard to comment on the product other than it was the correct needed item.Was disappointed that I couldn't use PRIME shipping but seller got it to me in the same amount of time as PRIME would have for reasonable shipping charge.

Super heavy duty has a very thick wall very highly polished mirror finish this thing will last forever and a day and looks fantastic.

I recently upgraded my external antenna and saw this extension and thought since I have the room for an extension, why not raise the antenna up another foot to help pull in weak signals. I honestly can't say for sure that it helps, but higher is better with antennas so it certainly can't hurt. This pole worked perfect. It has external threads on one end and internal on the other to extend my GPS antenna above the cabin top. The stainless looks nice and clean.
