I bought this mix to make GF Cupcakes for my niece. I was also making regular cupcakes and assumed that the GF ones would taste different. The directions are odd in that you add boiling water and an egg to the mix. I was concerned that the heat from the water would affect the texture of the egg before the cupcakes went into the oven. The cupcakes were amazing and tasted no different than the regular ones. They were just delicious. I made some regular size and some mini so people could compare how they tasted and everyone agreed you could not tell the difference. The cake was moist and had wonderful flavor. As an FYI, the extras froze beautifully. This is a top notch product. I have already ordered more and will be trying their other mixes as well. You cannot go wrong with this product!

This is a great mix that produces such a light and moist cupcake that it is popular with both gluten free and 'glutinous' crowds alike! The resultant cake with take a variety of toppings well, and can even be infused with flavours using a Bismark piping nozzle.

I purchased and used this cake mix once last year, and the cupcakes were wonderful - soft, moist, and tasty - they were honestly better than any regular cake mix I had ever had. HOWEVER, I recently bought two more boxes, and both were disgusting. Dense and tasteless, and the end product wasn't even red - exactly how the general population thinks of gluten-free food - terrible! I'm, very very disappointed. I'd ask for a refund, but I don't have anything to send back. I really thought that I had found a gem; instead it turned out to be a dud.

The best GF cake mix I have ever had. The cupcake itself was dense (not light and fluffy) but very moist and tasted wonderful! The mix was thicker than other cakebox brands but made 12 large cupcakes. We tried the Lemon and Carrot Cake mixes and both were equally tasty!

I am gluten intolerant so was delighted to find this company which makes delicious gluten free cake mixes. This one is simple to make. It is easy as a quick bread. It bakes wonderfully well and comes with a recipe for cream cheese frosting, on the back of the package. If you make a mistake and put your cream cheese into the cake mixture, they will turn out like brownies but they will puff up too much while baking (ha). I think we invented a new variation. I make a simple powdered sugar frosting for this, vanilla flavored. It would be fun with some sprinkles. : - )) You can make cupcakes or a 13 x 9 inch cake.

Thank goodness for this brand and flavor! It is so hard to find gluten free mixes! LOVE, LOVE, LOVE

This cake is so good. Nice & moist & great lemon flavor. You would never know it was gluten free.
