Arcade 1Up Golden Tee Classic Arcade with Riser, 5ft

I have always loved Golden Tee at the arcade, and I've spent a good chunk of change on them over the years. When I was younger I loved fighting and beat em up arcade games. When I got older and discovered Golden Tee, that became my favorite arcade game. I always wanted to have one at home, but they go for roughly 4 grand to get into a new version if you don't buy used/older. There was no way I was going to plunk down that kind of change and I didn't want to scour for used second-hand machines.Then I started seeing the Arcade 1UP machines at local stores. Did some research and saw that they, to my amazement, had Golden Tee as one of the options. The price to quality ratio on these machines is very good in my opinion. I am not bothered by the older Golden Tee games that are included in this machine. I dig the old school graphics and always found the visuals of Golden Tee charming in their own way. The replay value on this game is incredible. The track ball feels good, and the whole kit is a class act and really looks the part. The riser and light up marquee included in this package are icing on the cake. I also like the 3/4 size as it's a good fit and saves space in my game room.Kudos to Arcade 1UP for bringing affordable arcade games to the masses. I could not be happier with this thing. Can't wait to have some buddies over and golf out!

I used to like to play this in bars a long time ago. I hated to have to keep pumping quarters into it, though, so I had to restrict my play. Now I have this and I love it. Bought it for Christmas 2019 when it was on sale for $349. It didn't come in time, but that didn't bother me. Knowing that it was coming was enough. I would like the graphics to be of a higher quality, but I would be concerned if it was, then putting might become so difficult, it would detract from the fun.My son thought I was crazy, but after he played it some, he came around. His seven year old daughter, though wants to play it as soon as she comes in the door. At first I assembled it without the riser so the kids could play it, but I found I play better when I stand than I do when I sit. So now they have to stand on a chair. They don't mind.

This product is inexpensive because it’s a piece of junk. I spent a couple hours putting it all together and was excited to turn it on and play. Turned the game on and the program began loading like it was working properly. It loaded and restarted on its own about half a dozen times, now it doesn’t even turn on at all.This will be a huge hassle to return after I put this piece of garbage together. An absolute waste of money and time.I was going to buy a few of these arcadeup games but I’ll NEVER purchase from this company again.Oh I almost forgot to mention the item I received from Amazon was clearly refurbished. The skin on the screen was bubbling at the corner and someone wrote the number “3” in permanent marker on the screen, like it’s an error code perhaps? I’m not sure exactly what happened before I got this game but I knew it was a refurbished piece of trash by the time it got to me.Amazon won’t do anything to correct the issue of being sold as a refurbished machine and the manufacturer just doesn’t care at all. They each blame the other group and I’m the one left with a busted game that I had to put together, now take apart, and repackage if I want my money back when all I need is a new screen.I REALLY wanted to like this product too, what a massive disappointment.Adding to this post after I returned the item. Not only was the product refurbished garbage but they they take forever to refund the item. It’s been a month and I still don’t have a refund. The manufacturer definitely doesn’t care, Amazon doesn’t care so you’re just at the mercy of two groups who each blame the other group and nothing gets done. Great customer service.

Put together and video did not work, just sound. Everything was connected and done right. Opened up silver box on back and white plastic connected was not pushed in all the way. Went down a mm and then video worked. Game is good, just like arcade, only no backspin button. That’s a shame, game would be so much better with it.

I ordered this after having it saved in my wish list for a few months, the assembly of this was pretty simple with easy to follow instructions (the riser could use better instructions but we got it together). I wanted this to put in our basement "fan cave" and thought it would be fun for when we have friends over. This thing in my book gets 5 stars alone for the fact that it got my 14 and 18 year old sons off of their Xbox...lol. I have seen some people complain about the graphics, but to me they are fine when you think about the fact that this is not the same system that you would see in a bar, it is a home game system and for that it works out just fine. The lighted marquee is an added bonus for sure.
