Bundled with a AstroAI meter and cable set
I purchased this as a bundle with an AstroAI meter and extra testing cable set. The case holds the unit decently well using a velcro strap without elastic(meaning it wont wear out and go slack). The strap is narrow enough to use the meter without removing it from the case, though it can be easily slid out from under the strap if you push the bottom of the case out of the way. The meter sets recessed in the case and while it could slip and fall out if picked up and jostled while open, it is held in fairly well. If over tightened the strap will draw in the sides of the bag making it harder to zip closed if the other pouches have things in them. Id like to see the strap sewn to the back to avoid this but at the price point its an insignificant issue. While the front pouch does have an elastic band that holds the meters cables and baggie of extra cables securely, it does feel like the type to go slack after some time and use. Again, at the price, its not really something to worry about, it can be easily sewn onto in the future if it becomes an issue. The zippers while not the thickest appear to be a decently rugged design to not slip or break open any time soon, though i wouldn't stress them too much. The teeth are angled so they face each other, if you can close the flap, itll zip.My only real complaint is the alligator clips that came with the extra cable set have firm rubber shrouds on them and when placed in the pouch of the meter pocket they have to squish down fairly hard against the meter. Since its a cheap-o meter Im not too worried about it, but if you have a more expensive unit or one with a on/off button its something to be aware of. Id like to see a webbed pouch in the front pocket, but again, at the price Im not going to hold it against the manufacturer.Itll protect whats in it to the best of its construction. Worth the purchase if you're looking for a simple bag to keep your meter and kit together. Im not worried about tossing the packed case in my electronics bag with my other tools and banging it around. The padding seems to protect the meter reasonably well. Though, if you have a more expensive or sensitive meter...well...youd probably not bang it around in the first place.

A serious bargain that works perfectly
I bought this to house a Triplett Compact Cat III 1999 multimeter. The Triplett, meter leads and instruction sheets fit perfectly in the two separate zippered pockets. Each pocket contains elastic securing straps. I'm amazed at the quality for the price. Could not be more pleased with the functionality of this product.

Adequate
I have mixed feelings about this case. I didn't want to spend a lot, as this is for a spare meter, but did want something that would last a while.Pros: Material is pretty good, appears to be woven nylon both inside and out (none of that slick PVC), but I don't really know. Seams are straight, no fraying, etcZipper pulls are metal, however there is only one per compartment. The padding is adequate to protect the meter. There is a velcro strap that keeps the meter held down in the main compartment.Cons: Size, the description states "Main compartment measures approximately 8 in X 5 in X 2.0 in (L X W X H)". My meter, a Kline MM200 is 1-3/4 inches tall and the case must bulge to zip shut.Only one pocket, which is in the main compartment. This will be ok for storing the instructions, but would be more useful in the small compartment. The handle loop must have been an afterthought, it doesn't fit in with the rest of the case, seems more like a piece of ribbon one gets at a fabric store. This is really not a detriment as I didn't intend to use. No belt loop.I'm glad I only bought one of these. I have a friend who bought the same meter and I was planning on ordering him one, but it doesn't seem like it would be a very fitting gift. The one I have is being kept as it does serve to protect the meter. The design idea is pretty good, kinda wish they had targeted a little higher price point.

Awesome little TOOL or GUN case
Awesome little case. Inside 7 1/4 x 5 in.TOOLS - It has two sections a top and bottom. Each has its own zipper. Unzip the top and you have about a 1/2 inch high padded section with an elastic band running across the middle of the narrow width. This compartment is isolated from the lower one. Unzip the lower part and the "cover" has a small pocket sewn in; nice. The bottom portion is about 1 1/4 inch high and has a 2 piece Velcro strap runniing across the full width. It's about 2 inches from the end of the case. The case also has a short "wrist band" on the outside. The case is flexible and very nicely finished.GUNS - Again, awesome case (see photo) Fits Glock 30 w/grip extender and 1 extra 10rd mag in lower compartment. Top compartment holds 2 extra 13 round mags. Inconspicuous as heck! Could pass for a Day Planner or cosmetic case.

Good but could be better
The only reason I didn’t give this five stars is because there are no molle straps or any other way to attach the item to a pack or a belt. There’s just a wrist strap. The product itself is great. I use it for carrying my power pack and all my charging cables.

Quality Case with two Pockets
Having recently purchased a Multimeter Case directly from Triplett, I was very impressed with the quality and construction of the Tetra-Teknica case compared to Triplett's Multimeter case. Given that Triplett is one of the leading Multimeter Manufacturer's, I would have expected that their case would be higher quality but this is not the case. The Tetra-Teknica case is far superior and I recommended it for your multimeter protection. The case has two zippered pockets which allows separating your meter from pointed meter leads and temperature probes.

A good case for a multimeter
I use this for my Fluke 115 which fits within the case along with the Fluke test leads, an extra set of test leads with alligator clips and the Fluke manual. A velcro strap is used to keep the meter in place and it is offset to one side of the case. Probably not ideal placement of the velcro strap but it works well enough. I like that there is a separate compartment that can be used for the manual or spare part so you can keep all the multimeter items together.

Great size and lots of room for meter, cables and test accessories.
Ample room for a digital multimeter, accessory leads, temperature probe, test leads, etc. The dual storage areas make it versatile as meter stored on one zippered compartment side- and accessories on the other. A good size that should fit most popular multimeters and still has room for extras like leads, accessories, test cables etc. A gift for a friend this Christmas that should be well received for its professional functionality and simple performance use as a well built and well designed soft carry case.
