Heroes of Goo Jit Zu - 2 Pack of Glow in The Dark Action Figures, Thrash Vs Rockjaw

My son really liked these after seeing cartoon clips of them. They were super hard to find in a reasonable price range. We bought this two pack under twenty dollars. The alligator with chunky parts already had a crack after the first day so he was super careful with it. Could have been from packaging. The paint like other reviewers said, also started to come off. He was fine with that and really liked them anyway. He decided maybe the ones with the smoother inside fillers would do better than the chunky filler, maybe would last longer. These definitely seemed overpriced for how well they may last. My son really likes them but set the alligator one up on display so it wouldn’t bust. Cool but a little pricey. Since he saved his money, he was having a little buyers remorse, but still looking for ones priced reasonably.

This was what my grandson wanted and he was super happy with these! The quality is excellent, the size is perfect too! He even shared them with his younger brother! I found them to be a very durable and enjoyable toy for them. It kept their attention for much longer than other toys and they insisted on bringing them along to the next party!

My kids love them but beware of swords. If your kids mix up their toys like mine do, then the possibility of these things getting stabbed is a real thing. Goo will come out but luckily they used a Lego sword so the oozing was slow enough to not be problematic to my floors so I can't speak to that possible damage.One has lasted since Christmas 2020 and the other lasted about a month into 2021 but that mostly has to do with my kids making one a bad guy who constantly had a sword jabbed at him, not inferior toy quality.

These are durable and very satisfying to play with! But the only issue is that the paint on them keeps wearing off. So for the alligator (Rockjaw) I had to color the shorts the gloves and the boots with a sharpie so the paint would not wear off. Same thing with the shark (Thrash) I had to color his tattoo as well. Amazing price though. When the first series came out, the packs that came in two, we're about 20$. Amazing that the price is so low! Great gift for kids but hopefully it lasts long enough. They glow very well. But Rockjaw is a little bad with the glowing. It's more of a mild glow. But thrash glows very well. Overall good gift and it doesn't last very long with the paint job. The new figures are better and more advanced with how they are made. They glow way better I real life than they do in the photo.
