⚓ Glide into stability and command the waves like a pro!
The Hydrofoil SE 400 Sport in Dark Grey is a high-performance boating accessory designed to stabilize vessels at low planing speeds, especially effective on Yamaha 225hp outboards. It installs easily in 20 minutes and significantly improves ride smoothness, steering responsiveness, and wave handling in moderate sea conditions, allowing for safer, more comfortable cruising without constant throttle adjustments.

Easy to install no drill option. 2nd boat with one.
I had this exact Hydro Foil on a former boat and it greatly improved the boat getting on plane and how it handled while going at slower speeds like in a no wake zone. I recently purchased another boat and it doesn't have trim tabs like my primary boat has now. I considered putting trim tabs on the new boat but then I remembered how much this improved my old boat so I went with one. These are a great buy, the no drill application is pretty straight forward and easy to install and it fits great. I am happy with the quality and it looks great.

Works as advertised
Really like this hydrofoil. Makes your boat perform a little better in all aspects: hole shot, planing at lower speeds, top end speed and handling. Put mine on a 18 ft deck boat with a 115 hp Mercury. Very happy with what it did for my boat. Well worth the $85 and relatively easy to install with the no drill option.

Does what it says, well pretty much
Fitted to Yamaha 225hp outboard on Hydrasports 23WA. Reason for purchase was the 23WA is known to need a little stabilizing help at lower planing speeds, not an issue if going fast, but the seas don't always allow that, the workaround to use the trim tabs. Even so the boat would fall off plane and not get back on without more throttle, then would need to be backed off to prevent it going too fast.... enter the hydrafoil .. I had used one years ago to fix a similar issue on another boat. Install was pretty easy, very easy, backed up to a sandbar, 20 minutes with a socket wrench and a screwdriver and the hydrafoil was installed - note the yammy needed to use the outermost holes. First "real" trial was out the never forgiving Merrimack river and to Jefferies ledge 35 miles out in 2-3ft waves. No need to use the trim tabs, motor trim was all, ride was stable at low planing speeds, if speed dropped below 18mph the boat stayed on plane and picked back up to 21-23mph without intervention. Was able to use the trim tabs as designed to fine trim the boat. Return trip at near low tide with cross currents and nasty swells, no problem, dropped to 14mph and stayed on plane, picked back up by itself so all I had to do was steer, nice! Back in calmer waters I was able to reduce the engine trim and the boat remained stable (no pounding) and picked up to 35mph at moderate throttle. Overall - boat more responsive and stable, less pounding, steering more responsive, able to run at lower (more comfortable) speed while on plane. May lose a bit of top end speed due to extra drag from hydrofoil but then the trim tabs are not down and the boat isn't pounding so maybe not.

Se400 sport on OB mercury 115hp long shaft
Se400 sport arrived on time, since my boat is in storage still I dont know if I will have an issue with install or planning. The product is as described but won't know until installed and tested. It will be going on 115hp mercury out board. will update in may or June. (Update)July 7th, 19. So the install was easy, however I needed larger bolts so I had to go and buy 2 large bolts, although I couldnt find the same exact ones it still worked. Now i was on the lake yesterday and i must say that this product did not plane as fast as my previous whale fin (no where close)(it is shorter than my original one) how ever I think it did take some shaper turns and was slightly faster after it started plaining. I believe it's designed for smaller/lighter boats? Mine is a 16 1/2foot with merc115hp outboard long shaft. Over all I'm just happy it was able to replace my older broken tail fin.

Money well spent
attached to a 1994 60 hp Mecury bigfoot outboard. I did have to drill 2 holes for proper fitting, They are marked on the foil and Installation was relatively easy, I spent about an hour installing. The SE400 made a huge difference on my boat getting on plane, I have a 1994 17ft Nitro and was having issues getting on plane. That is no longer an issue, Additionally I like how the steering improved as well,

Great addition to Worldcat 255DC
Purchased for a Worldcat 255DC with 150 Yamahas. These are easy to install at the sandbar using the supplied hardware, a 7/16" wrench and Phillips screwdriver. I was able to baseline the boats performance prior to installation, but I have not re-evaluated post installation data yet. These were installed when the boat was at full fuel, and an excess of gear and people aboard. One thing I can say for sure though is that it has gotten the boats tendency to porpoise under control, which was the main reason I wanted to install them. They work. Up on plane at lower RPMs and definitely a smoother ride and less fiddling with the trim control. I've been checking the torque on the nuts and have re-tightened a couple times. I will drill through mount these soon since they are of noticeable benefit.

Great Product ! Great Hole shot and acceleration it delivers !
This is an excellent Product and installs very fast . Just take your time look at the Utube video for installation . Take your time with the wrench so you don't over torque . Also incorporate cross tightening . We were able to cruise at 2500RPM at 22MPH . At 3000 RPM 28 MPH . Top speed is 47 MPH at 4750 RPM wit 2 people and full tank of gas . About 3 MPH less than the Mercury Stainless 3 blade Enertia ( $ 600 Prop ) without the SE Sport . We put on a Quicksilver Nemmis prop 14 x19 with the SE foil ( It gives great hole shot and very good mid range acceleration better 25 % better my gauge on our Boat ) I don't know what helped the most but together they kick Butt . We have a Crownline 21SS open bow with a 190 HP 4.3 TKS Mercrusier engine .Its a great price on it thru Amazon !

Works great!!!
I havnt owned it very long but I went with the drill mount method and it took about 30 min start to finish. I personally love the way it looks. It feels sturdy so I dont have concerns that it is going to fall off. It's on a 16' bayliner capri with a 90hp outboard 2 stroke motor with a 13" propeller with a 19deg pitch Loaded down with 3 adults and camping gear it still takes a bit to get up to speed but thats just because the motor is on the small side other then that it feels great and solid while up on the plane. If it's just me in the boat it pops out of the water, feels rock solid and I have certainly gained a high top speed. For the price I totally recomend and I plan on buying the se200 to try on my tin boat with a 9.9hp

MOLTO BENE
