GX160 GX200 Carburetor with 17210-ZE1-517 Air Filter Tune Up Kit for Honda GX120 GX140 GX 160 GX168 GX200 5HP 5.5HP 6.5HP Engine

My Honda generator wouldn’t run. I replaced the carb and other part supplied and it runs great. It’s an easy do-it-yourself job requiring minimal tools.

Once installed… started on 2nd pull

I let my Troy Built rototiller set to long this time and the carburetor need cleaned and rebuilt. When I looked for a carb kit I saw the GX160 GX200 Carburetor with 17210-ZE1-517 Air Filter Tune Up Kit for Honda GX120 GX140 GX 160 GX168 GX20. The price was so good I had to try it. The carburetor worked great, mounting gaskets, fuel tank screen and line was enough to make it run like new again. I installed the new air filter and spark plug because it came with the kit and now it should last another 10 years. I also have spare coil, choke lever and ignition switch that came in the kit for future use. I was able to put the little motor in top shape in about 30 minutes. I would have spent more time than that just cleaning the old carburetor. If you think you need a carb kit, buy this instead. You'll come out way ahead.

Has been a great replacementNo problem with unit. Easy to install on my GX160. The only down side was the spark plug fell apart in my hand right out of the box. Wasn’t a deal breaker. I needed the carb.

This was my first time doing maintenance on my pressure washer. It wasn’t working so I decided to take the engine apart and discovered a crumbling air filter. Assuming it also needed spark plug etc-I looked on Amazon to see what was compatible with my engine. The kit was very convenient and I was able to use nearly everything.

This carburetor installed on 20+ year old Northern Tools pressure washer with Honda GX160 motor. The motor wouldn't start very well, took multiple pulls, wouldn't start in cold weather at all, wouldn't run without the choke being on about 1/2 way, surged a bit, and backfired on shutdown.Also didn't seem to have the power it originally did.This new carb (plus a new plug, no other changes) fit perfectly and fixed all concerns. I only ran it once since the changes, but it was back to normal, started on first pull, ran much better. I did not change out with the new magneto or gas filter or gas lines, or on/off switch. All these now in spare parts inventory.So this is a good, if not great, purchase, in my opinion. The only thing I wasn't wild about was the spark plug was generic. I ordered a real NGK plug rather than use it (but would have used it in a pinch). But other than that the carb was a direct replacement, looks like a perfect copy, and the other parts look direct replacement as well.
